Dad+son fisticuffs at the local WH for their birthday. Just he and I. His first time. I hadn’t been in over a decade or more. It was everything I remember: fat guy griddle ninja , sassy but nice dyed-hair girl running the egg station , pimple-faced ginger manning the bacon station , a fat lady with missing teeth running register and managing , and an absolutely who’s who of my county’s finest redneks.

We finished number 30 overall…. The big ten had several ranked high bc nobody scores in that conference..We were a championship team last year if we didn’t have the couple games where the defense fell completely flat.
