He was an old school coach for sure. Had a lot of success there, and at King College, I believe.

I saw him pretty routinely in the Arby's Classic. Really loved that tournament. I enjoyed seeing the local teams give some big time programs fits. Pitts liked to run that press and he taught it extremely well. Science Hill was also blessed with some pretty good athletes.

Giving away as in losing?..usually games played at the same time are winners given the last leg is the loser…or vise versa..it’s always the first or last…the money coming in on NC state and Iowa is intriguing…I’m waiting closer to game time.

Side note: watch it be Kansas or Duke lose

Might be too late for that. We gave them all of the incriminating evidence.

Arby's has some regional teams. But gets teams like Bolivar. Saw Wayne Chism and the guard that went to Memphis, play against SHHS. Oak Hill, and some other Middle TN teams.

Im not claiming its the end all be all man.

It's a great tournament.

I actually thought I remembered them playing there sometime. I lose track over 30+ years of who has been there.

I have not been since my in laws passed but I was a staple there for about 15 years from 2000-2015. I love the opening round games almost as much as the Finals.
