Joined. I have only played fantasy baseball...once I think? We'll see how it goes lol2nd call for the Fantasy Baseball League, we will need to fill it up this week as the season starts next week:
Fantasy Baseball Join - ESPN
This game will depend a lot on if the refs allow us to be physical without calling fouls. If they allow it, we could dominate, if they listen to the national media about us being bullies, it could be a long game.I don't think FAU will respond very well to our physicality. Also, they've not faced a defense anywhere near ours that I'm aware of. I think our bench is deeper with better quality depth.
They are good, I just don't feel like they are on our level. I have a feeling we're starting to gel into an identity without ZZ and we should keep getting better.
Because they are 33-3 and if we take them lightly, we are in trouble. No games are easy at this point. IF you think that going in, you are much more susceptible to the upset. I do hope we feel dissed for being only a 5 point favorite.Dude get real. FAU isn’t beating us. If you think differently then give me the reasons why they will.
It's fine. Embrace the narrative. Crap, I always liked Old Anderson and the Assassins better than Dusty Rhodes and Wrestling 2.Possible narratives:
1. An incredible run by legendary future Hall of Famer Rick Barnes in the twilight of his illustrious career.
2. A highly veteran, senior team using experience and physical play to run through the tournament against a sport that has shifted to younger teams having the most success. Possibly influencing college basketball in the near future. Directly rivaling "one-and-done" recruiting and basketball culture.
What we are getting instead:
"Dirty thugs from Knoxville. Uros Plavsic is probably a Russian and has a shrine to Putin in his apartment. Vescovi's grandparents are probably suspiciously German. Rick Barnes gives all his players brass knuckles to hold in their balled up fists."
