I'm glad you're ok and wife is on the mend.Checking in to let everyone know I am fine just needed a break from the board. As many that have been on here as long and even longer than me it can wear on you after a while with all the negas and trolls. Also, my wife had her 5th back surgery in Feb. and sje is doing great after a year of battling workers comp. They denied it so we had to use regular insurance but she is doing great and we both plan on being at the O&W game.
UConn and FAU were playing the best heading into the Final 4. That 2nd half for FAU was awful. The lights finally got too bright for them.I'll be cheering for SDSU, but I think UConn takes it all.
Got some great news today..... My wife received a job offer today! It is for significantly less than she was making but it is work and we can pay the bills. We will figure the rest out as we go along but we can keep a roof over our heads and just as importantly keep a barn over and provide care for our animals.
My daughter found out last night she won first place for her Spanish II essay at the competition in Memphis last weekend. 22 other private and public schools participated, she also decided to try out for and made the cheerleading team. She gives up so much and never asks for anything, I am so proud of her.
Update on the rooster the neighbor brought to us. I fear he has head trauma. He does not respond to light and does not appear to have any vision. I'm continuing to feed and water him with a syringe. I've made the decision to give him another day or so to show any signs of improvement of vision. If he does not I'm afraid I will be forced to make the decision to put him down humanely.
All of our other animals are doing well. I'm very nervous due to the weather this evening. Until these storms pass I will get no rest. Thank you for all of your prayers! Continue to keep us in your thoughts. Thank you all for everything!
I think uconn has it made. Never can tell at this point of the year though. Miami might rip them a new one.FAU gave it away. Poor rebounding on defense got them beat. Up 14 and lose by 1
*The winner of the Miami / UConn game will be the champions this year, IMO
Good to hear about your wife and good to see you lurking around .Checking in to let everyone know I am fine just needed a break from the board. It was an exciting finish but it is hard to continue overlooking that the refs are there to influence the game in real-time to make the event as exciting as possible. That was an April Fools joke on FAU. Weren't they leading almost the whole game? Refs have WAY too much control in who wins and loses in basketball. The worst thing about this sport.
Oh my - I’m so happy they weren’t harmed.Prayers and praises this morning. My inlaws were in their home last night when a tornado ripped through the wide spot in the road known as Readyville, TN. How they are alive is purely a miracle and the grace of God? They called me at 2 am to let us know they were ok but their home is destroyed. I hope everyone else is safe as well. Possessions may be gone but family being safe brings joy to the morning.
