Top to bottom our '23 class was good, not great. We missed on a few very elite players on D & O, particularly OL.

We may not land the 5*'s in '24 but im fine with that. Five stars rarely pan out for us, sans Eric Berry. We do best with a crap ton of fours with few threes. Like a typical Gator class.

5*s rarely work out for us? I don’t think that’s the case. If it was it’s because we have had trash coaching staffs in the past. We actually have a good football staff that can develop now.

I agree. Saying 5*s rarely work out is an exaggeration. Many may not have lived up to expectations but most would have been multi-year starters. Sign 25 guys like that a year and you have a pretty nice team

FAU let the refs rattle them and their style. Had to know they refs were going to try to get SDSU back in the game. They were clearly nervous for the final 10 minutes, they rebounded like they had nubs for hands

Exactly what I told my wife as we watched it. The game turned at the 10 minute mark when they changed how they called the game. FAU lost their poise.

Checking in to let everyone know I am fine just needed a break from the board. As many that have been on here as long and even longer than me it can wear on you after a while with all the negas and trolls. Also, my wife had her 5th back surgery in Feb. and sje is doing great after a year of battling workers comp. They denied it so we had to use regular insurance but she is doing great and we both plan on being at the O&W game.

Good s to see you back. Speaking of missing people, what ever happened to @Bassmaster_Vol?
