Ok gamer friends... I was given a PS5 for my bday (yay! I didn't deserve it but I'm so loving it and am shocked that consoles have caught up to pc so much) but the thing is I haven't owned a console since the original Wii was new and so I have a whole host of Playstation Exclusives that I've never played. I've played the aforementioned Spider-Man Remastered, God of War (and Ragnarok), Miles Morales and am working my way through Uncharted 4 but there's an entire back catalog of great games I really know nothing about because I've been a PC gamer for so long. Here's what I like - open world games like Morrowind/Skyrim/Elder Scrolls, the Witcher and Red Dead Redemption 2 are my faves but I also like games like Dishonored (that's one of my favorite smaller games) and even tiny indies like A Plague Tale (both games) and Stray.

Soooo any suggestions on PS exclusives I missed? I have Ghost of Tsushima on my list and the new Horizon game. But there's nearly 20 years of PS exclusives I haven't played.

Ghost of Tsushima is awesome. Think of Red Dead Redemption 2 but in feudal samari Era. Open world as well as straightforward story chapters if you want to go that route. Definitely recommend it. Alot of hours to play through so you get your money's worth.

It’s a Yakuza title through and through, but based during the lead up to the restoration period.

Probably one of the most outwardly, unapologetically nationalistic plots I’ve played since the mid 2000’s call of duty and Medal of Honor games.

I wish it was still acceptable to be patriotic like that here, but it sure would make me proud to be Japanese if I was.
