What advantage is there to bring white that would make you better suited to management? Because I kinda think that must be racist.
This is a really good post. And that is the point. You're completely comfortable with the thought that being black is an advantage for being an athlete, but uncomfortable with the thought that race also may confer advantages for other skills. Management is a skill.
The answer to your question isn't popular or politically correct, but it comes down to the fact statistically speaking, there are clear differences in skills between racial groups. There's lots of debate as to why that is, but from my perspective, natural selection answers it well enough. If being faster, smarter, stronger, disease resistant, skilled, etc, gives you a better chance of survival, than those are the attributes that will be passed on. Environmental and geopolitical factors will heavily affect the attributes of a population over thousands of years. Consider what attributes contribute to survival in Africa, then consider what attributes affect survival in Scandinavia, then consider what attributes affect survival in Asia, etc. While some may be common, others are not. White folk do poorly in the sun and heat, and black folk do poorly in the dark and cold. There are very real scientific reasons for that. It's not racist to identify and understand that.
Are there other differences that are less obvious? Almost certainly. The resulting differences can be physical, but also developmental and cultural. Governments and societal structure evolved differently in different areas because the regional needs were different. Agriculture was more important in some places than others, so that would also be a driver. How does that drive the fitness metric among people groups over thousands of years? Hard to quantify, but differently...and that's the point.
Germans are very organized by-the-rules people, but Spaniards are more flexible. I'd prefer my trains to be run by Germans, but I'd rather have dinner with Spaniards. Which one is more likely to be successful running a plant? Which might be more successful running a restaurant? Is that racist? Or just cultural fitness?
I'm not trying to say the color of your skin dictates what you're good at, but I am saying that different people groups developed differently, and as such may find success at different things. Some of that may be due to racism, but some of it is simply skills.
I agree with this.I would personally say the bigger problem with NFL coaching hires is not racism rather nepotism and rehashing coaches who failed somewhere else. It seems coaches always pop up again and again on different staffs even if they aren't that good. That's the trust circle thing I suppose but it's a problem for sure.

awww lawdI don’t think this is the forum for this discussion so I will say one last thing about it and be done, but I fundamentally disagree with what you’re saying. I think it is an a pseudoscientific and borderline eugenics based argument.
You’re trying to compare basic physical characteristics to the ability to manage people in today’s society. Athletic ability and management are not the same.
You’re using over generalizations about different races, ethnicities, and nationalities to support your argument. I suspect digging into every one of those things breaks down on closer examination.
I don’t mean this to be a personal attack. I truly do understand your point that this is why things should be merit based and colorblind. However, I think your argument and of itself allows people to ignore cultural differences and the historical reasons for those, instead relying on oversimplified understandings of inherent racial differences. It is the exact environment that allows passive systemic racism to flourish.
Psh only 5 INTs in 2 seasons. What a gimmick. Real football QBs can throw that in a single game.
But fr that is COMPLETELY INSANE. What we just witnessed the past 2 years with HH may not be fully be grasped until we have 10 or 15 years of separation.

@Weezer would be your best bet.Anybody ever joined the carnival or carny lifestyle?
