In fairness, hard to protect the qb when the play gets blown dead when the defender is within 2 yards of the qb

I put lot of stock into Kyler Kerbyson's evaluation of OL, and he's absolutely raved about this line from having been in practice.

The only thing the original ESPN (and ESPN2) is good for anymore IMO is live sports broadcasts. I couldn’t tell you the last time I watched something other than a sporting event on those networks.

It’s what happens when you cater to a “majority” defined by the loudest squawkers…not the actual fans.

Yep…. We haven’t even had our starting five lineman playing together in the media viewing part of practice or in the orange and white game…. We have the talent…. I think it will sort its way out

Or it means absolutely nothing.

Spring games are scripted to show whatever the coach wants to show…

I remember one of Floridas past mediocre coaches use to set up their scrimmage to make the offense look dominant….. the QB would be something like 32-33 - 438 yds 4 TDs 0 ints…… in the regular season…. They would struggle to get to 20 points(except against us) and the defense would be one of the best in conference.


Our coach just wanted to get through it with 0 zero injuries… With the Ethan Davis injury it was a bad orange and white game…. Other than that…. It was a fun time.

Guilty of the same. I was a Bailey Believer. I strongly felt that Heupel’s history emphasized ANY QB could excel as long as they processed the game quickly enough. His scheme evolved big time since Sam Bradford or even since Drew Locke. A mobile QB is a necessity. Doesn’t have to be Justin Fields level, but can’t be Peyton Manning either. We always need to be prepared to realize what we DON’T know.

Trying to get anything other than the potential of the youngin's out of the spring game is pretty useless, IMO.
