ESPN was so much better when the had Hoge and Ron Jaworski breaking down film and players instead the guys talking over each other like they do today

That was a decade ago. Skip Bayless isn't even on there any longer thank goodness.

But yes the whole "First Take" thing is...still a thing I believe. They took the ancient Crossfire, political style show and ran with it. It's so stupid...but people eat that shiz up.

I put lot of stock into Kyler Kerbyson's evaluation of OL, and he's absolutely raved about this line from having been in practice.

Hope so, and could be wrong, but I though it was his show where they were dogging last year's OL and ended up with egg on their face?
Also said the 2021 defense would be "historically bad". I just know they've been all over the map on their takes.

Who made the ETSU Dance Team? My daughter did!!!! That's who!! So very proud of her!!

I'm going to share another proud dad moment. We met with her new dance coach this morning and he was bragging about how this will be their best team. He said the evaluators were very excited about the new freshman. He said that they cheered loudly for them and he mentioned my daughter by name!!! The only one he mentioned!! I am fighting all the allergies right now. There is nothing better on this Earth than being a dad.

Yep…. We haven’t even had our starting five lineman playing together in the media viewing part of practice or in the orange and white game…. We have the talent…. I think it will sort its way out

It's the only potential weakness I can even come up with, if I had to. The rest of the team just looks solid and with depth. A huge corner is being turned.

That's awesome. Do you think she has aspirations of being a pro dancer? Bet a nice career can be made of it these days, especially with both NiL and social media opportunities through NFL franchises.

This also raises the question because dancing ability is often passed down - is Byron a great dancer? Do I even want to know?

AWESOME! My son spent 2 years in ETSU's band a few years ago. Was a great time. They just got chosen to go to 2024 Macy Parade. Maybe the dance team will get to go!

I am most concerned about the O-line. They did not look that good yesterday.

Right now, they're trying to find the right combination of players, then it's about meshing as a unit. I wouldn't be overly concerned about a Spring game. We won't see the finished product until the first game, and even then, they'll be some tweaking as the season progresses.

She is interested in Speech Pathology as of today. And, while I have been known to bust a move back in the day, she is adopted and, thankfully, got none of her athleticism from me.

Congrats on your daughter….. my speech pathologist would not recommend going into field…. Therapy is being devalued as a field…. Still a good profession but there may be better options.
