If not? You won’t hear it from me! Errybody loved Dale…for good reason. My favorite was Kelly Ziegler…our resident Ray Nitschke.

Kelly Ziegler was a bouncer for our parties. Good guy. Scary as hell bouncer. Watched him grab a guy by the back of the neck and belt and throw him off our patio. Dude was being rude to a girl. Kelly didn’t say s word. I asked him if he knew how far the fall was off the patio. Just smiled and shrugged when told 8-10 feet. Thrown dude hit rolled and came up running. Never came back.

I say vice versa. He loved baseball and would have stopped his part time “hobby” well short of HOF candidacy imo. We forget just how great he was at his first love. With a fake hip he was still launching homeruns.

He had maybe the greatest run in NFL history and the greatest throw in MLB history.
I think he would have been a HoFer in either sport, but especially baseball. He was a true "4 Tool" player. Hitting for average may have been suspect, but I could live with .260 with everything else he did.

I'm thankful I got to see him play both sports in his prime. Best athlete I've ever witnessed.

Guilty of the same. I was a Bailey Believer. I strongly felt that Heupel’s history emphasized ANY QB could excel as long as they processed the game quickly enough. His scheme evolved big time since Sam Bradford or even since Drew Locke. A mobile QB is a necessity. Doesn’t have to be Justin Fields level, but can’t be Peyton Manning either. We always need to be prepared to realize what we DON’T know.

I'm going to share another proud dad moment. We met with her new dance coach this morning and he was bragging about how this will be their best team. He said the evaluators were very excited about the new freshman. He said that they cheered loudly for them and he mentioned my daughter by name!!! The only one he mentioned!! I am fighting all the allergies right now. There is nothing better on this Earth than being a dad.

Ohhhh…love this!!!

It's the only potential weakness I can even come up with, if I had to. The rest of the team just looks solid and with depth. A huge corner is being turned.

Congrats on your daughter….. my speech pathologist would not recommend going into field…. Therapy is being devalued as a field…. Still a good profession but there may be better options.

My wife just got a 30% raise as an SLP. Works in the First Steps program with birth to 3. She sees a minimum 20 kids a week and there is a waiting list of kids because they don’t have enough PT/OT/DT/Speech for everyone.

Also an ETSU grad if Byron has any questions.

Ya speech, physical, and occupational are all under staffed fields.
