Oh man, yikes.
Uh huh. Unfortunately for tight ships, information isn't stored in only one cargo hold. If they're gnoshing with one or more teams on potential deals, hints get dropped around those who make a living speculating about such. And I'm sure his goal is to get the best possible deal for his team. UNFORTUNATELY (once again) there's some give and take in that process. IF they really want to move up for a player? Much more give than take.Khan is the kind of gm that doesn’t seem like he lets much info get out of the facility…. That’s why I doubt any of the noise out there…. Especially since none of it is coming from the Steelers media personalities….If he does decide to trade with the Bears…. I am 100% confident he will get a good deal… that man has been on point so far.
There are no good deals when trading up in the first half of the 1st round of the NFL draft unless you get lucky and end up with a generational talent like Mahomes. There are very few of those, and none of them in this draft, IMO.Khan is the kind of gm that doesn’t seem like he lets much info get out of the facility…. It's kinda like Jeff Simmons. Was supposed to be a Top 5 pick then all of a sudden they dug up a video of him body-slamming a grown woman (he was 18) who was attacking his mom.According to the scouts ragging on him he shut out Will Anderson, had good tape, good senior bowl, good combine and interviewed well. If he can do all that while being lazy he's a round 1 draft pick while being lazy. Heck, if they actually believe all that nonsense they should draft him top 5 for the upside of how good he might be if he suddenly gets motivated.
Totally agree with the others it's misinformation to try to draft him. Maybe there's a grain of truth in there somewhere but if he was really lazy he wouldn't excel in an offense where he has to run downfield after a first down and hike the ball in less than 10 seconds. Our offense is very hard on lineman and definitely not a good one for lazy lineman.
Insert Leremy Tunsil weed smoking picture on draft night.
Now the highest paid OL in the league right?
About time we took a stand!! LETTUCE GO!!!They won't release info. But if it's good, we'll hear sooner. If it's not going our way, UT will want to delay till summer, hoping for advantageous rule changes or reinterpretations. Only one violation matters to UT: reducing the Failure to Monitor to take the harshest penalties off the table.
That's why Sankey was there-- to protect UT from punishments that would impact the conference/postseason and/or unfairly punish current coaches and players for the malfeasance of those no longer with the program. And UT brought a legal platoon to show that unfair treatment will be met with resistance from a university that can afford to escalate and is backed by a powerful conference that will stand behind its member institutions.

I’d like to see some data to back that up. Til then, I’d file that under personal theory. There are no good deals when trading up in the first half of the 1st round of the NFL draft unless you get lucky and end up with a generational talent like Mahomes.
