Looking back on wars is always unfair to the men of the moment.
If the German army doesn’t halt its attack on the retreating British and French forces at Dunkirk in May 1940 does Great Britain survive.
If Britain falls does Japan attack Pearl Harbor In December ?
Does the United Sates stay on the sidelines and watch Russia fight Germany-Italy-Japan?
These are questions that we can’t answer
Saturday down South has stooped to a new low. I hit the dropdown to see Tenn news. Let me know when you see it.

Absolutely the soldiers are the real heroes. Is Churchill the real hero? He was doing what he needed to do for survival. I have a hard time calling any politician a hero. Maybe that's just me. The real heroes were the soldiers who fought the battles.
Without the bomb, millions of more Allied lives are lost, and Russia enters the war with Japan, resulting in Japan being divided like Germany was.
One of the replies to ... wonder what it says?
Weve been trying to reach you about your chariot's extended warranty
May 10th, 1940
Winston Churchill was appointed Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
On the same day.........German armies invaded Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and France.
Without a doubt..........Churchill and Stalin are the biggest influencers of WW2.
When you put on socks and shoes. . . do you put each sock on your feet, then your shoes or do you put on 1 sock, then one shoe?

He also deserves credit for going against the leaders of GB at the time. Although still a politician…unfortunately we have to have them.Standing nearly alone? What about the British forces? Churchill was rare for a politician, but he was still a politician. He deserves credit for inspiring the British public, but he wasn't on the frontlines of the war.
You forgot, you put one arm in one sleeve first, then one leg, then one sock. . . then repeat the process for the other side while, finally, putting your head through the shirt neck hole last. . . unless your neck gains prevent this method. Is it already time for this discussion again? Wow, time flies.
So, I put one leg into my pants, then put on the sock for that foot, and then put my shoe on that foot. Then, I repeat with the other leg. Very efficient.
It's no different than going to the school that can give you the most grant money as a student. You're seriously clutching pearls over something that has nothing to do with you. These athletes went decades with having their identities stolen with no restitution. They're getting what they're worth in the free market now and you're butthurt about it. You either need to change your perspective or start donating more to the Tennessee NIL fund.We all were right….he’s a D**k Head.comparing job opportunities to educational opportunities…this is college sports now..sad

Which brings up a couple much more important questions. . .
Do you put your arms through the sleeves then pull the shirt over your head or do you put your head through first?
Do you call 1 leg of pants a "pant leg" or a "pants leg"?

Just read a book about one of the Russian women snipers from WWII. They called her Lady Death for killing so many Nazis. The Russian women did a lot more than birthing.
"Night Witches" (German: die Nachthexen; Russian: Ночные ведьмы, Nochnyye Vedmy) was a World War II German nickname for the all-female military aviators of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, known later as the 46th "Taman" Guards Night Bomber Aviation Regiment, of the Soviet Air Forces. Though women were officially barred from combat at the time, Major Marina Raskova used her position and personal contacts with the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin to obtain permission to form female combat units. "Combat facilitated and ushered in a reluctant acceptance of women in military, based more upon practicality and necessity than for equality".[1] On October 8, 1941, an order was issued to deploy three women's air-force units, including the 588th Regiment. The regiment, formed by Raskova and led by Major Yevdokiya Bershanskaya, was composed primarily of female volunteers in their late teens and early twenties.[2]
An attack technique of the night bombers involved idling the engine near the target and gliding to the bomb-release point with only wind noise left to reveal their presence. German soldiers likened the sound to broomsticks and hence named the pilots "Night Witches".[2][3] Due to the weight of the bombs and the low altitude of flight, the pilots did not carry parachutes until 1944.[4][5]
