Using what metrics? Those rankings are usually beyond worthless. They either use research renown which has almost nothing to do with undergrad or they use fluff metrics like graduation rates which has nothing to do with (or is even inversely related to) how rigorous and respectable a degree is from a university.

I just saw in the baseball forum that we've moved up to 16. That's a 2 seed. And we still have Scar and the SEC tournament to make up ground. They said they also give weight to hot teams, in addition, and we're 10-2 recently. Too early to say. Most fun idea I saw was "please put us in Clempson's regional."

Maybe, maybe not. I will reserve judgment until I see what happens on the field. We had talent on our roster - top 20 recruiting classes nearly every year. We did not have coaches who could develop. Colorado had a roster full of low rated players in terms of talent as well as effort on the field.

I cannot judge whether Saban or Smart could do it since they had access to talent. Maybe yes, maybe no.

Since saban nor smart nor prime will ever coach at Tennessee, then they aren’t coach enough to do better than CJH.
Blow their doors off this year in Tuscaloosa and Knoxville!

I guess more of my concern was Campbell is infatuated with Goff and there has been talk they want to sign him to a 5 year deal if he performs this year like he did last year.

To be completely fair though, I just found the actual interview and Campbell was very complimentary before that part of the quote and the whole answer was a different vibe. Editing the original post to show the video.
