2023 College Football Heisman Trophy Odds

For reference, this time last year Hendon Hooker's odds according to Vegas Insider sat at +8000. I said last year I thought we had to get to Atlanta for Hooker to get invited to NYC and for him to win I thought we'd have to win in Atlanta. I pretty much think the same applies to this year only this year a lot fewer people will be surprised if and when it happens. jmo.

@Ulysees E. McGill - if you're not buying the Milton hype you can put your money on Nico. Nico right now has the same odds Hendon started with this time last year. TIFWIW. jmo. lol.

Butch also smoked a cigar after Bama beat Tennessee.

At least Dooley had the awareness to go get a job completely away from the Bama/UT sphere.

It was really degrading seeing someone who was supposed to bring Tennessee back, become anerrand boy for Nick Saban.
That was hurtful to anybody with Tennessee Volunteer pride.

That was the point but tbh, I think it backfired more than anything else. Butch seemed wholly unaware of the fact that they weren't laughing with him but at him. It was so humiliating (for him) that despite knowing he was aiming this at us, I felt somewhat bad for him. It's hard to describe how messed up that was or come up with a example but I suppose it's like watching someone you went to high school with decide to 'get even' with the cool kids by doing humiliation porn where they're the victim. You know what they're doing is aimed at someone else directly but it's so effed up and embarrassing for them that you can't help but feel a little bit sorry for them and whoever might actually care about them. He basically cut off his own nose to spite his face while claiming it was to spite someone else.

Butch strikes me as the type of guy that has very little self awareness. I'm sure in his mind, he was really sticking it to us when in reality, it just made him look like a huge loser.

One of the 'leaders' was a bipolar schizophren, who's plan was to eradicate all those with Jewish ancestry....

I've never heard anyone claim Hitler was bipolar schizophren or even schizoaffective (which is a disorder marked by symptoms of both bipolar and schizophrenia -- often times schizophrenia is marked by a lack of emotion or the flattening effect). Are you just throwing those out there as slams? You can be an epically delusional pos without an actual psychiatric disorder. You can also simply have delusions and those can be cause by a variety of things - some related to psychiatric disorders and some not.

That said, it's very likely that Winston Churchill was bipolar. In fact, Churchill is a bit of a case study on bipolar disorder/manic depression (not in the literal sense but in the sense that you'd be hard pressed to find a better example of bipolar disorder). Honestly, the mental health community needs to rename bipolar disorder or go back to using manic depression instead of the term bipolar. Too many people think that bipolar disorder = two personalities when it has nothing to do with that whatsoever.

In honor of @drvenner :

โ€œA Roman walks into a bar.
โ€œHe holds up two fingers and says, โ€˜Five beers, please!โ€™โ€

โ€œA Frenchman walks into a library and asks for a book on warfare.

โ€œThe librarian replies, โ€˜Why, Youโ€™ll only lose it.โ€™โ€

Q: โ€œIf April showers bring May flowers, then what do May flowers bring?โ€

A: โ€œPilgrims.โ€

Q: Why were the early days of history called โ€œThe Dark Agesโ€?

A: Because there were so many knights!

The first two are definitely the best. ๐Ÿ˜‚
