Same here although I haven't played in a long time. Used to play 3 days week. Sold my Callaway X12 or X15 and started using forged Wilson Staffs. I hate fat soles or cavity backs. Bigger grips are great

I’m replacing my X20s. I’ve had them for 16 years and have loved them. I’m getting a little bigger grip on my irons and woods. I get a little handsy sometimes and it should help take my hands out of my swing some to help that.

Never hit them. These p790s are the first blade type iron that I have hit and loved the feel of them. Closest thing to a blade I’ve ever hit.

The whole thing reeks of being epic(ally) lame.

I hate what Sankey has done. I hope the conference bombs, we win every title, and it becomes the 5th best conference and the outsiders run back to their rightful SWAC or Big 12 or whatever you want to call it.

A once national game is being siloed into a regional one-off. Then the West teams ran to the B1G. Now the ACC is next to likely fall. Consolidation. Money. Consolidation. Money. Consolidation. Money. But for whom and for how long? Only the 30 biggest programs? In a couple regions? Who else will care in 10 years?

All the FCS and G5s that needed it across the country will wilt, as will many P5 programs. And yet some keep clamoring for the monster programs and wanting to kill off the historical Vandys, UKs, Miss, Ga Techs, etc state schools of the world for only the FSU, UNC, Clemsons, $$$. NFL type shiz. BS.

It sucks and Sankey's a moron taking the quick buck over the long haul (oh but all because he read he was the 3rd highest paid commish and got butthurt over it Napoleonic little man vibes).

I hate conference expansion, as well. I hated it when they did it in the 90’s and more recently. I hate that we’ve absorbed half of the old SWC.

But, part of me also wonders if we might have ended up like the ACC if we had stayed pat all these years. It’s a tough call.

Wilson used to be THE brand, but their forged blades are really nice!
