My son is 14 and his top fast ball is 82 right now. Weve got a senior lefty on our team that hits 92. In the state of SC at the high school level, weve got some elite pitchers that are juniors and seniors that throw in the mid 90's.
Am I the only one who doesn’t care about this part of the game? Like give me made up faces and names, I don’t care, I just want to start building my UT dynasty.
I'm sure you're aware already but there's still a very active community updating the rosters, playbooks and jerseys for modded Xboxes with College Football Revamped on them. I bought a modded Xbox last year just to play it. They have our black jerseys and our team/style was as fun to play with as you'd imagine.
I saw two that hit low 90s and one that was mid 90s.Yeah I don't think in my 4 years of HS I saw a single pitcher in the 90s. But was at a small school too, @scienceteaching_vol might remember better since I think one of the better baseball teams we had was his senior year.
Can't you edit name and number? I don't care if it is their face, . I never really cared about editing in their name or number. . . but I did used to wonder if giving a player a certain name and number would secretly boost their stats. Kinda like a cheat code.I’m so lame when it comes to anything tech. Which is upsetting bc I would LOVE to have our updated jerseys and play style. That’s the stuff I care about. Did you just buy an Xbox with that stuff already updated on the game on there?
I’m sure the players care about being in the game - would be awesome for them - I’m just more interested in everything else the game offers.
. . . especially knowing that those guys are still young and it'd be real easy for them to lose control of that kind of pitch. Can't imagine a 90mph pitch would feel too good on the eye socket or funny-bone, or anywhere else. . . plus most batters are probably not skilled or experienced enough at that age to recognize an errant pitch fast enough to protect themselves.I saw two that hit low 90s and one that was mid 90s.
That was scary as $h!+ for a 17 yr old…..all three pitched in the majors.
I wish I had a good recommendation on where to get a modded xbox. The guy I got mine from got shut down I think. He was pushing out like 4 modded boxes every other day at 200-350 a pop. He had a good run, I don't know if big corp got him or the government nailed him (hello IRS), but all of his stuff is down now.I’m so lame when it comes to anything tech. Do you think they can? I don't.
Bud Light controversy and now Sports Illustrated…
It’s almost as if someone says “What is the absolute worst decision we could make?”…. And then pay the monies to do that thing.
Knowing your audience is not high level marketing guru stuff. People will talk about it, but won’t buy it. Look at Bud Light sales since March. Down 18-20% last time I checked
