Man I hope you are correct!✌

NFL/Draft guys....

Which teams are likely going to need a QB in round one next year?

I have hopes of Milton being a first rounder, but I know Drake May, Caleb Williams, and a few other guys are likely going to get first round consideration. Just wondering how many teams will be in the market...
Williams will be QB1. Maye is fantastic, I think another good year will solidify him as QB2 or 3.

Cards, Bucs, Washington are the three obvious teams that will be looking at QBs. There will probably be 1-2 other teams that end up QB-needy or QB-curious come draft time, either because of injuries or contract issues.

Williams will be 1 overall but I think Joe will be in the hunt for first round consideration all year. He can control if he will be taken seriously as a top 3 QB in this class if he can improve his progression/reads and decision making.

There are other things outside of Joe's control that could influence his value. If Hooker gets snaps and proves the UT QBs are for real. If Richardson plays out of his mind this year, seeing as people want to comp the 2 so much. Will Maye stay healthy and continue making great plays? Will Ewers live up to his potential?

I just hope Joe is staying focused. It's fun that he has a big arm but his value for us and for the NFL will be in getting the ball out quickly, accurately, and being a big body that can keep plays alive because he's hard to take down. Rolling out and bombing it 50+ yards isn't the path to victory or to the first round.

Yep. Not even trying to hide it. They want Bama on cruise control until Fouts can return for Omaha. They stuck UT with a loaded regional to accommodate ESPN's "home run" narrative-- three powerful offenses with the country's three top HR hitters from Indiana, Louisville and Tennessee-- in one regional. Looks like UT will sail through that to meet Texas in the supers. Another tough regional, since Texas hoped for a Top 8 seed and wasn't happy with their seeding. Presto, another narrative-- the battle of the UTs in Knoxville, playing a UT-UT matchup to replace the one cancelled in the regular season.

It's all about narratives and matchups they can package and sell for maximum revenue. To boost revenue even more, they put most of the games on ESPN+ to increase subscriptions and haul in even more $$$. It favors some teams over others, but when the real metric is TV revenue, that's what you get. Teams just have to play and write their own narratives-- and hope the cream rises to the top.

I've got to tell you, as someone who generally only comes on here once a day in the morning, reading your posts during a game be it baseball or basketball is a trip.

It's like you believe if we lose a game, the players absolutely stink. They give no effort and should just give up the sport.

I find it especially crazy during baseball games. Anyone who played knows some games you just don't have it and the other team just was better on that particular day.

It is however, entertaining!

Ahuna got fired at one point yesterday.

If Hooker ends up starting for the Lions, they suddenly will be my favorite NFL team.
I have no interest in the Titans.
I root for NFL teams with Vols.

I don’t blame you. They seem to be content with doing just enough to have a pulse. If ownership actually put the money in to build a team the revenue it would create would be unbelievable.
