I was there and when they got the onside kick I just sank into my seat and put my head in my hands, the exact thing I did when they converted a 4th and 14 in the Swamp with under 2 minutes, which I also attended. I knew we were going to lose. Somehow we didn't. I still remember when Richardson threw that last pass seeing only orange shirts and knowing we were going to win before it was intercepted. It was like I left my body.

I was so mad at Heupel - I nearly destroyed a wall. On tv, it came across that CJH really thought that the game was over when we had a big lead. He absolutely packed things in and was basically celebrating the win while Florida was still playing and playing hard in desperation mode. By the end, he knew he'd effed up but thankfully he and we got away with it. I don't think he'll make that mistake again.

Lol..Oh yea they should be embarrassed by their non conference schedule. I know there's nothing any school can do about the SEC schedule , but non conference you need atleast one decent game. Honestly this isn't exactly our best Non Conf schedule either, but atleast it's a neutral site game vs a Power 5 School.
Is there a dime's worth of difference between Virginia and Georgia Tech though? Really?

I think the thing that offends me most about UGA is just how mid that program is. Oooooh, your primary color is RED. How original. And your logo is the same as the Green Bay Packers! Daring! And your fight song is "the Battle Hymn of the Republic!" Same as Colorado! And your mascot is a BULLLLLLLDOG! Oh, haven't seen one of THOSE as a mascot anywhere. Oh, not to mention the SHRUBBERY in your stadium. How intimidating!

Red and blackbis a good color scheme but they don't use it enough together or the right way. They could have a lot of nice alternates but usually go with those dingy gray pants or their white jerseys that are plain as hell. Their uniforms still look better than Bama's stupid maroon WW2 era style of uniform. Purple and yellow or gold is just trash so LSU shouldn't be that high. I do like Auburn's colors and uniforms but would like to see them mix it up.

When you microwave something and it gives varying times, like between 1-2 minutes. . . do you adjust the time based on the power of your microwave, do you just split the difference (1:30), do you do the max to make sure it's done, or the minimum to not overheat it?
I keep adding 15 seconds until it's warm enough. I'm not sure microwaveable food requires the level of specificity of an episode of Chopped.

From bringing about nuclear holocaust, to being just an outright dipsh!t...and, some of you are best buddies with these things.

Some day people are going to wake up and realize tech bros are feeding everyone bs: crypto, Web3, AI fear-mongering, etc. They get filthy rich while the rest of the world is distracted. What’s old is new I guess.

Controversy here, as the NCAA gave Southern Miss the nod as the host team over Tennessee. In classic NCAA fashion, there isn't going to be much if any transparency regarding the choice.

Regardless, Tennessee has found its rhythm and should be the heavy favorite here. Southern Miss eked past Penn in the Auburn Regional after losing its opening game. The Volunteers, meanwhile, went on the road to win the Clemson Regional, quieting concerns about their ability to win away from home.

This will be a great environment in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Tanner Hall will be a tough guy for Tennessee to hit in the first game. The bet here, however, is that the Vols will find a way to do so and that their own pitching will more than measure up. Chase Burns has revitalized his season as an ace out of the bullpen and gives coach Tony Vitello a great, versatile weapon on the mound.

Prediction: Tennessee in 2

The “beat a higher national seed” part means that they were ranked higher by the committee going into regionals…

The committee will tell you that there is no ranking of seeds after the top 16. The fact that we were technically slotted 29th (playing the 4th) is laughable.

I think they need to go away from geography for the top 32 seeds and rank them. After that, you can use some geography. Have some objective measurement.

Common sense? And rhe NCAA!

That would be a disaster. Total disaster. Although knowing how things go for Tennessee it would make all the sense to end up happening like that as sad as it is.
I'm not sure what else can be done. Unless we use high pressure sales to close these guys.

I dont forsee that happening, bc they are so loaded at WR.

Vitello is recruiting very elite territory. Don’t see the baseball program slipping whatsoever (best chance by far for a national championship)

Karen looks like she’s regained a step. Needs to keep recruiting really well. Everyone is chasing Oklahoma

Rick is Rick. You’ll get solid defensive teams and a sweet 16 here and there. Great fella. Recruiting numbers usually always top 2-3 in SEC

Kellie is eh. Recruiting is eh. We’ll see if/when the wheels come completely of the bus there

Heupel has gained momentum significantly after last year’s season. 10th ranked 23’ class was needed to effectively replenish the mass amounts of guys lost off of last year’s hugely veteran team. 24’ looked like top 5 class maybe but another top 10 is probably the likeliest for the Vols. Somewhere around 8-10th. 5-6 range in the SEC after counting Texas and Oklahoma. Got to win 9+ games and keep the momentum up
