That’s true… usually it’s best to follow recruiting around September/October. It gets really interesting around there. Although it’s kinda weird after seeing what Tennessee did with guys with a clear talent cap we don’t see a lot more momentum with the elite receivers. Landing Matthews would be one of those signings that would do the trick. Open the flood gates so to say. Kinda like Julio for the gumps back in the dayI'm not sure what else can be done. Unless we use high pressure sales to close these guys.
I dont forsee that happening, bc they are so loaded at WR.
Would be great if we got a couple recruits to shut it down after the 16.next two are huge
I don't see how that helps the argument that our out of conference schedule this year is better than Georgia's out of conference schedule this year then.Yes there is. GT has pedigree in being a former SEC team. They shared a NC in 1990.
@Glitch, he teed it up for you.next two are huge
UTSA is a top 25 teamI don't see how that helps the argument that our out of conference schedule this year is better than Georgia's out of conference schedule this year then.
Our OOC schedule is Virginia (Nashville), Austin Peay, UTSA and UConn
UGA's OOC schedule is @Georgia Tech, UT Martin, Ball State, and UAB
The main difference is we play Virginia in Nashville and they play Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I would agree with you that historically, Georgia Tech is a better program than Virginia but in modern times they are both pretty much also-ran ACC programs, neither of whom, year to year, is a lot better than the other.
Well, I don't know how tough any of those teams are or will be, I know that no one schedules them for a tough game, they are scheduled for an easy win. If UTSA turns out not to be an easy win this year, which may be the case (I don't know, I don't profess to keep up with their roster or their league), that's just our terrible luck. I do maintain however that there is not any real difference in the quality of programs between Virginia and Georgia Tech at the moment, and that's what the guys I was responding to originally had said and implied.UTSA is a top 25 team
Boom
Our schedule is harder
Tiger Stadium is supposed to be more intimidating than Neyland?? I guess if you look at it as Neyland SW, then yeah, I agree.
Yeah they're both equally horrible. But yeah UTSA will be good. Probably don't have enough to stop us at all on defense though. But their QB is really good.Well, I don't know how tough any of those teams are or will be, I know that no one schedules them for a tough game, they are scheduled for an easy win.
