Could it be worse than this? Corrupt and biased college administrators and corrupt and tyrannical oligarchs at Disney controlling and distorting college athletics? No history of rules ever having been followed except on an ad hoc basis as a means of rewarding friends and punishing enemies.

Yes. Sabey want Congress involved!

The host decision was stupid- but at least there are some facts for USM hosting, even though I think UT had a far better case.

But the actual game times picked is just mind numbingly incompetent. Even with all the rain this series easily could’ve been played one game each day if they just looked at a freaking forecast.

The NCAA? They're a member led organization and a NP. They are not incorporated and never have been.

While they may revenue 1B, over 95% is given right back to their members, the universities, and SAs. Like the NFL association, it's really a front for the real power brokers, who both control and ultimately profit off the arrangement. You could call that a 1b organization I suppose, but it's really just a funnel in reality.
THIS IS A NON PROFIT BRINGING IN MULTIPLE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EVERY YEAR AND GIVING BACK TO THE SCHOOLS

I think this is a tad paranoid. Money has always controlled sports to a degree. That's the price of broadcast television. They are beholden to advertisers who buy time slots. The NCAA itself is just a hodgepodge with one board having no clue what the other board or the other sport is doing.

Saban is well good for being an old man yelling at the clouds. Sometimes people listen but often they don't. Congress would open a committee, get face time, and make a non-binding set of recommendations to look like they're doing something.

I put on ESPNU so I can turn on the telly later and not have to channel search and some sort of softball is on. Well I looked up just in time to see a Lizzo sized woman hit a softball harder than a softball has ever been hit. Good Lord that would've been a homer anywhere. But the cool part was her joy was so pure that even the other team was smiling. I don't know what the backstory is or if she'd been in a dry spell but everyone was happy for her. I think her ball is prob. somewhere a few feet short of Burke's. The two are chilling - complaining no doubt that they've been ill used.

Pontiac is such a weird brand. They had some horrible designs and some wonderful designs. Right before they shuttered they had put out a top notch sports car design that would've helped them had they gotten to it years before. I forget the name of it (wasn't in production long).
They had some pretty cool cars. I am not really a Pontiac fan, but that show was only $10 and good exercise, 😆.

They had a couple cars that looked a lot better than I remember. Bonneville I think. 1 was about a quarter mile long convertible that was pretty awesome.

They did just release the CWS schedule and we would play Saturday at 7 if we advance.

But I have not seen any rules that it has to finish tonight. Seen some twitter/Reddit posts saying Tuesday is the deadline but none of them have been able to show any rule that has a definitive ruling
Yeah, the promulgation of the rules or the lack thereof resembles the Soviet era. They'll do what they want and tell you which rule it was or why the rule needed to be broken after. They would love for everyone to refer to such an efficient means of working their will as "incompetence." 😂
