Has anyone else, besides The Athletic, confirmed Nico got $8 million? I've seen it said a hundred times; but, the source is always The Athletic.

LSU has two Studs at the top of their lineup in Tommy White and projected #2 pick Dylan Crews, Tre Morgan is another bat to watch.
Paul Skeens is the projected #1 pick in the draft and the LSU ace (we should see him Saturday night). Their bullpen has been their biggest weakness this year but lately have been solid. Very dangerous team, should be a fun matchup

Pretty sure that was sarcasm/joke too. During the first two games, there were a courageous few prematurely bemoaning our chances and trying to hire batting/pitching coaches.

I think that quote was showing receipts now that we're in the CWS.

No, Lindsey threw against them early in the season and threw well. He matched Skeens pitch for pitch most of his outing.
The best thing we could hope for is LSU tries to save Skeens and throws one of their other starters.

VQ podcast touched on another of my favorite underdiscussed topics for the team…efficiency and stability in the S&C department. Schmidt has been a (mostly silent) godsend after the drama of Craig Fitzgerald. Hope he receives not so silent paybumps on a regular basis. Along with Ellarbee, he’s a Heupel staple.

I was wrong, Lindsey did throw against LSU and threw well but he was still coming out of the pen at that point. Burns started the Saturday game and struggled and Lindsey came in and threw 4.2 and gave the good guys a chance

Yes...he has done a very good job...the teams stamina...especially the offense..is amazing.

Speaking of that, 2 guys i noticed on the updated roster..Pearce is 242+lbs now and Josephs is 238. They’re both 15-20 pounds heavier than they were during last season

I vote the Vols play here over Lindsey.

They could rebuild LNS much more quickly if the Vols were allowed to play in the Smokies Stadium for a season. It would have some inconveniences but I think it would make up for it in getting LNS done.

ahhh, my old Grad School. Go Bulls. Much better than playing in the Bucs stadium. That school has grown sooo much since I was there.

I hope it helps them get picked up by the Big12 or ACC. Florida now has 4 Power 5 teams (Miami, FSU, UF, and UCF). Every time one of these schools gets promoted it's bad for UF. I'm here for it.

Honestly, losing game 1 and going to the loser bracket with our arms is very dangerous. We can make noise from the winners bracket or losers bracket.

You have to think you win 1 with either Lindsey or Dol.
