For those of you that still don't understand baseball...THIS is what we mean when we say..."that's just baseball".

Last years team is among the greatest, most dominant CBB teams that has ever played...and they did not do this.

They were the most dominant. And it wasn't that close. But 2nd place is also an Oregon St team that made it just as far.

Absolutely nothing is guaranteed in CBB. Until they ever go to 7 game series, we'll see another 20 year stretch of the #1 overall seed not winning it all.

Big crapshoot!

Someone needs to turn this into one of those how it started vs how it is going memes lol...

I understand why they can't do 7 game series, but it makes it, as you said...an absolute crapshoot.

I hope it helps them get picked up by the Big12 or ACC. Florida now has 4 Power 5 teams (Miami, FSU, UF, and UCF). Every time one of these schools gets promoted it's bad for UF. I'm here for it.
Yep, Florida remains my most 'disliked' school. Just amazing to see both UCS and USF going over 50,000 students.

Speaking of that, 2 guys i noticed on the updated roster..Pearce is 242+lbs now and Josephs is 238. They’re both 15-20 pounds heavier than they were during last season

Those two are going to terrorize opposing QBs. We get to see more of Banks' D-playbook in action this season.

Woah I was not expecting my Steele mag to be here.

Notes from his rankings of Draft Eligible players (upper classmen only):

> Has Milton as QB6, behind Maye, Williams, Leonard, Ewers, Nix

> Wright at RB16, Small RB45

> Bru WR9, Thornton WR32

> Warren TE57

> Mays C18

> Mincey G16

> Campbell T36

> Baron DE31

> Harrison OLB21

> Beasley ILB53, Pili ILB56

> Hadden CB 44

> McDonald FS30

> Campbell K19

> D Williams PR4

Dee Williams only Vols mention on Steele's All-American list - 4th string PR

TOP INDIVIDUAL UNITS:

QB Tennessee #6 - Joe Milton has a remarkable arm and is 6'5 242 and a load to tackle. He is the most physically gifted QB and led the Vols to a big bowl win over Clemson. He is playing the Vols' potent pass attack and is backed by super true frosh Nico.

RB Tennessee #19

WR Tennessee #6 - The Vols lose Hyatt along with Tillman. Three of the top four return including McCoy and they add Oregon transfer Thornton to remain one of the best.

OL Tennessee #27

DL Tennessee #28

LB Tennessee #54

DB Tennessee #25

ST Tennessee #16

** Know that having every single unit in those rankings is a sign of success and continued progress. I think we had all, or almost all, units in the individual rankings last year for the first time since 2016. Before that it had been forever as well.

2022's Toughest Schedules - Tennessee finished with #21
2023 Opponent Winning % - Tennessee 16th

Steele's Power Rankings:
*I am only going to post the rankings for SEC teams, our opponents, and the teams above 120 points (means good team) so you can get an idea for where we fit nationally

Georgia 137.24
Ohio St 135.19
Alabama 135.16
Michigan 134.37
Penn St 132.44
LSU 131.84

Washington 127.78
Oklahoma 126.50
TCU 125.70
Texas A&M 124.94
Wisconsin 124.89

Vandy 109.46
Virginia 105.02
UConn 99.43

I know that some will get upset because of where we are ranked, but I actually gain confidence in our ranking knowing that we beat beat that same Clemson roster handily and destroyed LSU on the road. I'd probably put us more in the 132 range, but we're up there with the big dogs for the first time in a long time.

I think A&M and Ole Miss are also undervalued on this ranking.

Surprise Teams for 2023 - "These are the 12 teams that have a shot at stunning the NCAA":
1 Wisconsin
2 Texas A&M
3 Texas
4 Oregon
5 Washignton
6 Utah
7 Iowa
8 Oklahoma
9 Oregon St
10 UNC
11 TCU
12 Tennessee - they were nearly a surprise team last year as they were unranked int he preseason but were #1 in the CFB rankings and 8-0 when they lost at UGA. They were upset by SCar or likely would have been a playoff team. They lose their Heisman candidate at QB but replace him with super talented Joe Milton who did well in two starts and they have the best defense Heupel has fielded in his 3 years here. They do play Florid and Kentucky on the road and draw Bama and Texas A&M from the West, and of course play Georgia, but if Milton has a year close to what Hooker had they could surprise.

Yeah, nah **** all that. Why are we the ones that have to take the high road?
Exactly. The high road isn't even on the map whenever it has come to sh!tting on us.

The moment Evan Russell was accused, on national TV, of being on drugs, was the moment "classy" fell from my want to. I have known for 30 years how easy it has been for EVERYONE to take their shots at us, laugh at us, and outright screw us...and, yes, I admit, we brought a lot of it onto ourselves; yet, I stayed tamed. Never again after the Russell shot; and, the fact the dude was allowed to still call games, let alone not fired...again, **** class!

How virtuous. Which one of you sh!t-heaps is Dr Curry? You must have missed SM fans being "great" at throwing sh!t at Vitello's dad.

The comment with the picture from his sister's OnlyFans account was great. I mean, she is straight nasty. A 3.5 at best, but the post is hilarious.
