I don’t think the schedule is that bad outside Bama and UGA. Us and Auburn get it again like we do every year lmao. But I’d rather play OU than Texas for sure. Arkansas will be in a rebuild year. Miss State is well Miss State. Kentucky is Kentucky. Vandy is Vandy. IF is a ? But hopefully they’re still stinking it up under Napier

Oklahoma and Texas fans seem genuinely excited. Not seeing cockiness but rather eagerness to get into the SEC for fun matchups and road trips. I’d be fatigued by the boring Big 12 too.

I would be surprised if they try to schedule twice in 3yrs. . . neither would probably still playing though, so maybe not.

If they both red shirt, what are the chances they schedule '25 & '26? That would have them playing each other in RS Soph. & Jr years, right? Is there some scheduling rule that wouldn't allow scheduling in consecutive years?

Our schedule is fine. With the team we have now I really don't care who we play, I truly believe we can beat anybody.

The fact that the league paid extra attention to preserve all of our traditional rivals indicates that they do take our program and tradition very seriously. If we just kind of got whoever, even if it seemed better on paper, it would let you know they weren't interested in highlighting us. We are an important program in the future of the SEC.

Yeah, if we’re going to Norman in 2024, Texas should be in Knoxville in 2025.
I’m starting to like this expansion. It’s a lot better than Missouri and A&M at least.
