Of course some folks will find anything to complain about but I am fine with the schedule. The SEC is a big boy league even the weakest teams can sneak up on you. I like our schedule, I will say South Carolina probably has the easiest schedule in 2024. But overall they actually did a pretty fair job, they kept big rivalries and this expansion is going to create new ones as well. You can bank on that with Oklahoma and Texas entering the picture.

The fact that the league paid extra attention to preserve all of our traditional rivals indicates that they do take our program and tradition very seriously. If we just kind of got whoever, even if it seemed better on paper, it would let you know they weren't interested in highlighting us. We are an important program in the future of the SEC.

another win for us:

the days of being coddled are over. Everyone will carry their weight now.

Why does @Wisconsin matter? Is Mandel trying today that game is tough? They have been a middle of the pack Big 10 team. The SEC lineup is more respectable, but Wiscy adds nothing there.

Bama had their best recruiting class this past season. They will still be a tough out.
I like how "Bama isn't Bama" after we beat them. Yes they are. Every position is loaded. The only difference may be coordinators and it's not enough of a difference to discount them. How come it's never "we're getting better"? For some, it's always "they're getting worse."
