I think you're making something where there isn't something. You're only guaranteed 2 games, so you make a decision. Knowing who we were going to against tonight, it was likely the only way we were gonna win is of skenes had a bad night or we used out depth.

He had a great night and or depth in the pen didn't keep it as close as we needed.

Doe will pitch on Monday against Stanford. If we win, Beam will probably get the next start. Tony has kept his rotation consistent. We just ran into a buzzsaw named Paul Skenes tonight. There's a reason he could legitimately be the #1 pick in the MLB draft.
