What kind of wild game?

You're right, genetics is a lot more determinant than a lot of health industries want you to think.
Everything. Mostly deer because its what I have most available. But my daughter is just over a year old now and these are all the wild caught/killed things she's eaten:
Sika deer
White-tailed deer
Tundra swan
American black duck
Bufflehead
Canada goose
Wood duck
Mallard
Black bear
Shrimp
Sheepshead
Striped bass
Stingray
Crappie
Blue crab
Flounder
Wild turkey

So, if that gives you an idea of what we are eating in the past year... all but the bear and turkey I got myself. Mostly whitetail though. Hoping the list of fish species gets longer this summer for her. Several species we had last year before she was old enough. The only significant meat in the diet that isn't in this category is chicken. Smoke chicken thighs occasionally but my wife just has to have chicken once or twice a week lol.

Yeah...I was checking into a Cahuita excusion.
I would do it if I was there. Especially if there's an offer to go into the jungle. We ended up on the beach all day and didn't get to go on the trails for some reason. You can see poison dart frogs, sloths, eyelash vipers, and who knows what else. The anteater was right at the entrance on the trail to the beach.

Awful technique and with all that exposed skin, melanoma is a real concern for this young lady. Can we get a long sleezed sunshirt, some longer shorts, and a nice sun hat before she succumbs to the scourge that is skin cancer!
You're awfully judgy, Judgy McJudgerson. Why should any woman have to live up to your impossible beauty standards you misogynist jerk??

I'm imagining McGill licking the frogs..... It's funny.

Are you judging me???!!

In all seriousness, years ago I went on a medical mission trip in Haiti. The host family I was with explained how valuable cats were, because they kept rodents/tarantulas out of the house, and when they were too old or too fat, you ate them. It made me really reevaluate my animal eating judgements haha. Sometimes it's reeeeally hard to come by food

Hey @VolsDoc81TX or other medical professionals of VN. Is there any medical benefit to giving blood on a regular basis. I gave today and was just wondering. I intend to continue giving blood as I am O+ but was wondering if it was beneficial for my health as well. TIA.

Chinese restaurants help keep the stray cat population under control.

That's why I never eat Chinese.

Not judging.

Aren't duck and goose pretty high in saturated fat and cholesterol? I've heard duck is a lot higher in cholesterol than 85/15 beef.

Also, do you live in a forest?!

I'm actually a doc. I've never heard of any, but that doesn't mean there are no benefits. I'm sure there's some benefit out there but it's probably too insignificant to really matter. If you're O+ though, it's a huge benefit to society so keep going (O+, A+, B+, and AB+ can all get your blood emergently, roughly three quarters of the world population)
