Domesticated ducks are very fatty. Wild duck has half the cholesterol (65mg), very high in Omega-3s, the cholesterol in wild duck is mostly monounsaturated fats which lower LDL. Wild goose is also pretty low in cholesterol, high in unsaturated fatty acids. But also, I'm not eating that every day. Like, maybe once a month I have waterfowl.Aren't duck and goose pretty high in saturated fat and cholesterol? I've heard duck is a lot higher in cholesterol than 85/15 beef.
Also, do you live in a forest?!
Hey @VolsDoc81TX or other medical professionals of VN. Is there any medical benefit to giving blood on a regular basis. I gave today and was just wondering. I intend to continue giving blood as I am O+ but was wondering if it was beneficial for my health as well. TIA.
