Wait, Andy's from Quito? Bro, that dude is from Kingsport.

Latest Gold Rush is set in Bolivia - I think. Or Peru. Or somewhere, one of team members got real sick flying in and out those altitudes. Crazy the heights can tolerate, just to crudely mine gold.
I have taken many groups from Houston to Quito. When you get off the plane they have airport staff with wheelchairs for passengers who get sick or dizzy just from altitude transition from plane to airport. I would carry glucose tablets to pass out to my groups to help with dizziness.

Nope. My brother kept a python when we were kids so I'm ok with big snakes. (An iguana too). Pythons don't really have teeth/fangs but more like a plate. They will snap if cornered (his once got loose while we were on vacation and coiled its way around this big radio controlled van he had and when I tried to get it out it 'bit' me. Didn't really hurt tho.).

A snake out in the wild would probably scare me tho. The big ones if they've been fed are lethargic and it's a very, very, long time between meals for them.

Exactly. It's fun to look back on it, but it means nothing. A bunch of opinions without much substance.

Heup had a lot to prove. He had taken over after a highly successful Scott Frost built the program and roster. Virtually everybody wanted a higher profile, proven commodity. Heup proved it and we have learned Danny White knows his shiz. He had to prove himself as well after the parade of incompetent AD's.
He had a lot to prove to who? To those who think they should be able to decide who the coach is or else?

I don't think he had any more to prove than any other coach would. If Saban had been hired he'd have to "prove' he still had enough to rebuild here. If Smart was hired today, he'd have to "prove" he's not a one-trick pony and can do it somewhere else. Similar with any other coach.

The question to me is why even worry or care?

We're literally good at....football....again. Isn't that the sport we're watching?

During our years of misery some began to think winning at recruiting and the offseason was the game to watch. Shoot, I hardly even pay attention to recruiting anymore. It's moot, we're actually good at football again. Lettuce enjoy.
I honestly think it is rooted in what I said in my earlier post. Those are people that are looking for something to be able to complain about.

The Rockies are newer mountains. The Appalachians are beyond ancient and unique. They were originally part of a mountain range that connected us to both Africa (Morroco) and Scotland but when Pangea broke apart it formed three separate chains. Our sister mountain are now the Little Atlas Mountains in Morroco. These mountains were once as tall as the Rockies but natural erosion took it's course - that should give you an idea of how much older they are.

The Alps, the Rockies, all the newer/younger mountains look alike snow covered, more jagged peaks, taller. The Appalachians look different because they're ridiculously old - from a time when Africa and North America were one.
Nerd alert ⚠️

This is true. All of the sandstone formations in Utah are all made up from the erosion of the Appalachian mountains millions of years ago.
Are you saying Utah was next to the Appalachian mountains at one point? I get the morocoo thing, but I don't see how Utah could have migrated thousands of miles from them.

I've thought that was very high probability since his first post, but I don't claim to know. And I never said so.

Anyway, I'm not all worried about whathisname the IOL who made a mistake and wants to be in Dabo's cult. Let's just keep rolling.

No. The sand from the erosion of the mountains drifted westward. Creating several thousand foot high sand dunes.

We run 604 & steelhead currently but looking into getting a super motor for a race here and there. Supers ran on bristol last few years but it was to fast and hard on equipment so anything bigger/banked than Bristol would probably be a bad idea lol
Call the dirt track bank and get ya one of those LS engines 👀

I don't like him, but Saban has got to be on these lists as well, doesn't he?
If the list is of the biggest cheaters in NCAA history and the greatest beneficiary of the NCAA's enforcement double standard (it is not incompetence or lack of power but bias and rigging), then add Saban to the list. And post it here.

If it is the sort of sycophant list you could easily find on a Bama board, then hell no, Don't post that crap here. Same goes for Kirby. 😀

This is the reason why anyone being "concerned" about recruiting or anything else football related can go fly a kite. This is an 11 win team coming back with a lot of firepower. From what this fanbase has been through, I mean how can we be critical of recruiting? How?
Exactly! Yet they don’t understand why everyone is not all excited about them finding that one weakness to focus on.
