To all my grillers, looking at getting either a Green Egg or Kamado Joe. Anyone have any experience with both or either one. Any preferences or advice?

I have a KJ and love it, but I don’t think you can go wrong with either one of them. Just avoid the first gen versions - as I think they both had top vents that were not ideal. Maybe it was just the bge. Not sure.

Whenever someone is claiming info on multiple recruits, 4+, and it's not the posters I trust already...and, especially if they're new...my suspension goes up right then.

Then, whenever they speak like this guy/gal, they're acting like they are VERY CLOSE to the situation, either working in the football office, or they're a booster, most likely. If they're in the football office...and, slighting coaches and players?? I'm sure Heup wouldn't like that very much.

If it's a booster, who really gives a sh!t, right.

Idk, maybe he/she's the real deal...as i said, my suspensions went up quick. Did notice today, he/she's been asked two specific questions, one by you, and has breezed on by them.

I don't know but my bro who is the absolute pro at smoking says if he ever goes away from his old time system, he is leaning to one of the ones using pellets. Is that post Green Egg? Idk. I was sort of surprised because I've never seen him without a stack of hickory since he was a wee lad.

I gre up in Appalachia. For my money, Alaska is best, then Washington, then Oregon, then California. The Pacific mountains are just spectacular and incredibly diverse.

The varying California landscapes absolutely surprised me.

From the gorgeous coast drive...to the drive midstate drive up to Yosemite with all their weird round rock hobbit-home looking formations, up to the Redwoods, The Bay, and back toward even Palm Springs...we drove past snowcapped mountains in the middle of the desert in May...wth.

It's wild how different the scenery can be elsewhere. Maybe my favorite reason to travel. Especially since I'm fairly certain people are pretty much the same everywhere you go...mostly good people, mixed in with just enough a**holes to ruin it for everybody

To be clear, all I’ve said is we need to recruit better on the offensive line and Larry Johnson won’t be a good player here. We don’t have a back-up option at tackle and if we get Warren it’ll be lucky/fortunate because we were out of options. All my criticism is directed at OL recruiting.

Unfair to call our a recruit before he even takes a snap here imo.

I love dirt track racing, grew up with it. I hope it takes over NASCAR. . . so much more fun to watch and so much more accessible. It would be wild to see a track like Talledega under dirt . Could you even run your cars on a track that big? Would be crazy.

Pulled some corn off the stalks in my backyard today and will be throwing them on the pellet grill with some locally raised beef. You have to make the most of Oklahoma of you live here.
I never thought I’d use a pellet grill but I got one as a gift from work a few years ago. It’s really easy to use, but there is still an art to it if you want to get all the flavors just right.

Yeah, he makes some bold claims and then when he gets called on them he waives his hands and says: hey, I’m just the messenger. It’s not cool to hide behind unverified sources, especially when you first offer those opinions as your own.
Who knows, he may be right but he needs to fine tune his delivery. If you are going to bring negativity to the current good-feels environment, you need to have a little more substance or you’re going to get called out. I mean, we’ve all used the internet, right?

Beautiful, sure. I do love that stretch, Asheville to JC is a gorgeous drive.

But majestic, awe-striking, humbling...not like the Rockies.

The Rockies are newer mountains. The Appalachians are beyond ancient and unique. They were originally part of a mountain range that connected us to both Africa (Morroco) and Scotland but when Pangea broke apart it formed three separate chains. Our sister mountain are now the Little Atlas Mountains in Morroco. These mountains were once as tall as the Rockies but natural erosion took it's course - that should give you an idea of how much older they are.

The Alps, the Rockies, all the newer/younger mountains look alike snow covered, more jagged peaks, taller. The Appalachians look different because they're ridiculously old - from a time when Africa and North America were one.

The question to me is why even worry or care?

We're literally good at....football....again. Isn't that the sport we're watching?

During our years of misery some began to think winning at recruiting and the offseason was the game to watch. Shoot, I hardly even pay attention to recruiting anymore. It's moot, we're actually good at football again. Lettuce enjoy.
