here too, taking care of livestock in this is hard, keeping an eye on 13 calves and more on the way

Used to do that in Wisconsin. Hardest winter we ever had got to -60 and even with heaters in the barns, we still had issues with livestock freezing to death…

According to KingNico, we may not have pursued this guy because he still lacks experience. He's talented, but we just brought in some talented CBs in this class. Supposedly, we're looking for a true starter, someone like Chestnut from Syracuse.

Looking at the bowl schedule, we don't get to cheer against other SEC teams again until Wednesday. I'll be cheering for Kansas and Texas Tech to crush Arkansas and Ole Miss, respectively.

Agreed. This is my girl. We're her 5th and forever home (breeders/abused/baby/abandoned/us), and she still lacks any concept of "stranger" whatsoever. EVERYONE is her friend and EVERYONE needs to pet her. She's currently sprawled across my recliner passed completely out, lol (she's spoiled).

I buy the fact we are passing but not buying the fact that most are rejects. I guess the ones we got last years and so far this year are rejects or does that only apply to the ones we do not get? I am pretty sure there were several in the portal tha VN really wanted not saying the coach did or did not want because we will never know that answer but they ended up at Bama or GA or other big schools so they must not have thought they were rejects.

We’re more concerned with fit right now than some programs that are better established, and some other teams are grabbing whoever they can with the money they have.

Actually no. The Steelers cut Hodges and signed him to the practice squad before Dobbs was traded. He was only elevated to the active roster after Dobbs was traded. And remember the Steelers got a 5th round pick for Dobbs which is pretty good compensation for a totally unproven backup when a #1 overall pick like Mayfield was traded for a conditional 4th or 5th round pick this off-season.

The Steelers didn't trade Dobbs to keep Hodges. That's a total lie.

Huskies are fantastic dogs. I had a friend back in Lenoir City whose family bred Huskies. They gave me the “runt” one year. She was beautiful—Sicily.
Anyway, anyone remember that massive snowstorm we had in March of…I think ‘92 or ‘93? It snowed about 2 feet overnight. We had several acres and kept the dogs outside growing up, but had opened the garage for them that night. I guess she preferred the snow though. We woke up the next morning and looked out on our front porch to see a big pile of snow lifting—out popped Sicily. She took off running through our front field like she was in heaven.

And apologies—no one was harmed in this story.
