Yeah. Just not changing expectations because we overachieved in the first couple years. Everyone hoped we'd be at 8 wins in y3 when he was hired, now we've decided that is no longer acceptable because he blew past y1 & y2 expectations? I don't think so, not for me anyway. If he has us @ 8-4, that'll be expected, anything more is a +

That’s a pretty damning report on Northwestern football. I would legitimately fight Pat Fitzgerald if he tried to make me do some of that bs. The aftermath would be whatever it was too. So be it. No way in hell that guy survives this.

8-4 would be a bit disappointing. 9-3 would be a solid number. 10 wins would definitely keep the momentum going. At 8-4 other coaches would have a field day over their reported theory that 2022 was a lighting in the bottle season for Tennessee

So anyway, about the season.

You guys remember when the CFB national media was talking about Tony Elliott being the next big thing in college football? An offensive genius and all that? Then he gave us the thanks but no thanks? You remember that? Then we slaughtered his old team with a much better roster in a bowl game. Now we get UVA and Tony to start the season.

I certainly don't think about that a lot.

I am definitely looking forward to the game in a very level-headed, measured way, and will certainly not scream my head off after every TD.

Just our type of offense. I think we'll probably lose Milton for a game, maybe two. Could be injured or. . . Heupel could rest him against a small school if he has any nagging issues. Seems like we generally lose a QB for a couple games a year at some point.
Sorry I could not give you a like for this.

I can’t wait! Hope we don’t hold anything back!
