I’m doing what I usually do and pick floor-ceiling on wins. So 7-11. 7 if a lot of injuries at key positions because we don’t have depth behind depth yet. And 11 because with AL and GA both on the schedule plus that depth thing it’s hard to imagine beating both in one year. So the average would be 9 is a really good season. But I never say we’re going to beat this team because in case y’all forgot…I am not over a PM led team losing to Memphis!

5-0 start is desperately needed. I'm tempted to say 6-0 because we get A&M at home after a bye week, but I have no idea if they will be good or not. They have talent but Jimbo is a headcase of a coach. So who knows.

The Georgia game is interesting coming so late in the year. We get them at home and they will likely be undefeated. Do they overlook us with the SECCG two weeks away? Do they have some key injuries? Are we coming into that game 9-1 or so with the chance to win the East? A lot of moving parts there that make it an intriguing game, despite their talent advantage.

Unfortunately, @ Bama seems like a guaranteed loss to me. Revenge game for them, and they are still Bama. I think Heupel is going to throw all caution to the wind and try to jump out to a quick big lead like he did against them in 2022.
Weeks 3-6 are probably the most important weeks in determining a successful season. Alabama and Georgia are always going to toss ups, if not slight underdog games. Florida, UTSA, South Carolina, and Texas A&M are the weeks we need to hit our stride.

Agreed. UVA as the opener with AP a week after will be good for Milton to build his confidence and for the offense to really click. If we can win in Gainesville, I think 6-0 is absolutely in the cards. Which would set up a top 5 matchup vs Bama in Tuscaloosa. Another step towards fully restoring that rivalry.

I feel good about the A&M game for three big reasons

It's in Neyland

We are coming off a bye and Heupel teams play extremely well after a bye. Even going back to UCF.

A&M will have just played Bama

Sets up beautifully for us
