It's year 3. Regardless of the success Heupel has had to this point, I'm not moving the goalposts. I expected 8-4 in y3 when he was hired. He should have the Vols @ 8 wins in y3, anything over is exceeding expectations.

Yeah. Just not changing expectations because we overachieved in the first couple years. Agreed and that’s not really on HIM. In case anyone feels expressing this opinion is slighting Tillman. Young man came back to up his pro stock and his injury may have made that an error. Luckily he was a third rounder so it may have been a wash.

That's what was weird about it. Tillman was/is very good. He was always a factor in the game, the O just seemed to run better without him, strange.

Why do you think he starts?

Just our type of offense. I think we'll probably lose Milton for a game, maybe two. Could be injured or. . . Heupel could rest him against a small school if he has any nagging issues. Seems like we generally lose a QB for a couple games a year at some point.
