Heupel should be 3rd at this point
Won a NY6 (Brian Kelly hasn’t ever done that)
74.2% win percentage (3rd in SEC)
His program has been under penalties and still has been better than Jimbo and BK
Jimbo has the championship sure, but that was 10 years ago now sooooo. Been a mediocre coach since

Interesting tidbit I hadn't considered. Titans semi-restructured their great offense from a few years ago.

Henry had 2k.
Tannehill had his best season.
TE - Jonnu Smith
WRs- Corey Davis & AJ Brown
Arthur Brown calling plays.

Henry back and healthy
Tannehill back and healthy
TE - Chig Okonkwo
WRs - Treylon Burks & DeAndre Hopkins
Tim Kelly calling similar offense.

I genuinely believe UF is going to get absolutely smoked week 1. Utah def wants some revenge and they are top to bottom so much better than UF. They are gonna do bad things to Mertz just watch.
Anthony Richardson... For all his flaws and poor play at times last year , is solely responsible for them winning that game and bringing the game down to the wire against us.

Beyond curses and such, there is really no reason we should not go to Gainesville this year and trounce them by 21+. I expect them to improve as the year progresses, but be terrible early on.

1. Saban
2. Smart
3. Fisher
4. Kelly
5. Heupel
6. Kiffin
7. Freeze
8. Beamer
9. Stoops
10. Pittman
11. Lea
12. Napier
13. Drinkwitz

No Data for Arnett yet.

Another 10/11 win season and Heupel jumps to 3 for me.
Fisher is overrated. His first 5yrs @ FSU were good. He won a title in the 4th year as HC @ FSU and took it down a notch every year til he left and now looks like runny dog poo @ a&m. He's yet to hit 10 wins in the SEC and seems worse every year, even though they're loaded with more talent than almost anyone.

To be the third best in the SEC, you'd think he would've hit 10 wins at least once in 5 years. He came close in covid year, but can we even count that, with all the drama around that season? It's also not like he took over a bankrupt A&M team. They had plenty of talent.

Based on what Heupel did here with the transfers, NCAA cloud, and general lack of overall talent, he would have multiple 10-win seasons at A&M. Heupel has performed better under worse circumstances. No way he should be lower than Fisher, unless the ranking is based on what Fisher did nearly a decade ago.

Jimbo is way too high

Of course it is.

Just look at the culture he created in that locker room and the program in general.

But how is Kelly the 3rd best coach in the conference when In arguably the biggest game of the year to that point his team doesn’t even leave the locker room? They get absolutely beat down in every aspect of the game 40-13. Then he has the balls to say it’s the fans fault?

I’m not ignoring the fact that CJH didn’t have Tennessee ready in Columbia by any means but damn if you’re going to give credit like that then give everybody who deserves some something.

Well that's essentially what I did. More or less this is my opinion on their entire body of work at the P5 level. Jimbo has been subpar since his national title, but he has a national title. Kelly has played in a title game. Both have also had longer careers at a high level. I think Heupel will be better than them in the long run, but right now he's got 1 season over 10 wins in P5 and he's a young coach. There's less data. I can't justify putting him above them in my personal ranking when he's objectively accomplished less thus far.

These rankings are subjective opinion, not fact. You can make your own ranking based on your own criteria and have him higher if you want.

Gene Chizik would be top4 if he was still an SEC coach. . . Ed Orgeron?

Don't hate it, just not very common. Niiice car though.
Yeah, usually the reproductions have the side pipes and roll bar. I was surprised how common this version was in the 60's. People like the mean looking side pipes and the roll bar makes it look more like a track car. I'm about 50/50 on which one I like better. I definitely don't care for the versions with roll bars behind the driver & passenger seats though.
