I think Heupel is a better coach. Heck, I think Kiffin and Freeze are better coaches, but I made a personal criteria for how I ranked the coaches.

They have to be factoring in the recruiting, as if Jimbo paid that 30 mil out of pocket. But damn... AT LEAST half the coaches below him on that list would have won more than 5 games with that roster.

And then I don't necessarily disagree with the Brian Kelly ranking, but I don't know if I expect him to maintain that spot. People forget, they not only lost to TAMU, but got blown out. Also beat Ole Miss on a few fluke fumbles. Did beat Bama, but I do feel they fell bass akwards into their success last year a little bit.

I actually looked at building a street version. I like them. I also agree that the dual roll bars look dumb.

This is basically how I did it. I actually should flip Beamer and Stoops in the first ranking. I personally don't like things being totally subjective as "I think he's better than him" so I tried to draw up some kind of hard and fast reasoning to separate them out.

Okay I crunched some numbers

Take away Mertz's performances against the three worst teams he played (New Mexico State, NW, and Illinois state)

He's left with 1,367 yds 10 TD's 9 INT's

Drops his completion percentage down to 52.21%

Three games he threw for under 100 yards

Ohio State 94
Maryland 77
Nebraska 83

Doesn't really get any better when you look at past seasons either

I mean there is absolutely nothing that suggests he can possibly beat us. Just blitz this dude and its over.
