They cover up paying players, they cover up and sweep under the rug all of the speeding problems, I’m sure there are plenty of other things they are covering up.If you have zero evidence for severe accusations, you should be fired. If you have lots of evidence, you should provide it when making those accusations.
Wapo, nyt, nyp all green light worse things daily. I also wouldn't say there's "zero evidence"If you have zero evidence for severe accusations, you should be fired. If you have lots of evidence, you should provide it when making those accusations.
It’s reasonable because we need to be far better than we have beenHow is it "reasonable"? If they don't find one then they'll have to use the portal. It will only be "reasonable" if they don't have guys to fill those spots 3 years from now.
Recruiting HS kids isn't as important as it once was. In fact, an argument could be made that recruiting OLs out of the portal is necessary to have a good OL in the future. Sort of like a professional team that develops its own guys but then gets free agents to go from good to great.
I don't know if it's true, but I've been told that UGA is the journalist school in the state and the AJC writers are pretty much all UGA grads. But this writer is from out of state. If true, I'm shocked the AJC allowed the original piece to be printed, and I'm not at all surprised the writer was fired.

Being lax in your thoroughness and due diligence in one area calls into question your entire credibility. That's pretty fundamental journalism.Wapo, nyt, nyp all green light worse things daily. I also wouldn't say there's "zero evidence"
He didn't independently verify that 11 guys stayed on the team after accusations. It could be 9 or 2 or 14 but the issue remains.
Tee Martin implicated in that article. A P5 coach told me in spring and summer of 2020 that recruits were asking for visits to be paid and they told recruits that it was not permissible to pay for visits because of Covid restrictions . Recruits told his staff that Tennessee was paying for visits. Not sure how many teams did this, but we did not keep it quiet.
They make accusations with little to no supporting evidence. CNN, MSNBC, Fox news, etc. Fundamental journalism is brought out for convenience these days.Being lax in your thoroughness and due diligence in one area calls into question your entire credibility. That's pretty fundamental journalism.
And no, those publications do not routinely accuse organizations of covering up a dozen instances of sexual assault with little to no supporting evidence.
