Just had to post a quick story: my wife and oldest son are in Prague with my sister-in-law and nephews. One of my nephews is wearing a UT shirt and while they were walking around the Old Town, someone walked up and gave him a "Go Vols!" We really are everywhere!

I know, I know, cool story, bro.

Tell me about Seymour. Thinking of uprooting from the west side of the state and I’m intrigued. Also intrigued by the entire metro of Knox, but Seymour seems to be in growth
I grew up in Knoxville and have lived in Seymour for 25 years. It is growing. I love it. It still seems to have some of that small town ambience. Schools are solid, but not exceptional. Lots of development. Lots of new homes. Some decent places to eat. Traffic is not too bad. I always feel very safe there. What else do you want to know? Very good property tax rates as well.

You’ve pretty much said what I need to know. Cost of living and crime are the two most important factors for me. I like the location of Seymour in relation to downtown Knoxville and Sevierville at roughly equal distance of 20 minutes.
