I felt the same way. On the one hand he had a good year and the other hand he seems to have gone backwards off the field. The one thing I do question is can he afford to not play. I wonder what he has heard about his stock in the NFL? And just for those who may read this wrong I am not trying to be negative nor am I down on Banks. Just didn't see him ranked on the level of Tillman, Hooker, Hyatt but again I am not a pro scout. lol

Is he expected to be drafted at all? For guys like Hyatt or Tillman, I get it. They could certainly go by the end of day 2. Seems like a poor decision to miss the bowl game for a guy with some questionable decision making already. That is if it was his decision.

He will probably be a 5th - 6th round pick.

@volbeast33 or someone else will be along shortly to tell you why you're wrong to feel this way. Apparently, we must always be positive and shoot sunshine and rainbows out of our asses.

I'll apologize in advance for my crankiness. I've not been well lately, and it brings out the worst in me.
Overall, so far, it has been nothing but positve, sunshine, and rainbows; just hate that we lost to that jackwagon clown.

The fact this is the only retort you could manage is telling. From all that you really had to go deep on Hodges to try and score a point? That must of stung.

The intricacies of how Hodges got to the Steelers was completely irrelevant. What was relevant is that if Dobbs had acquitted himself sufficiently to remain on the team it's basically a lock he'd have been on the field instead of Hodges. (who got 6 starts) He didn't so he wasn't.

I focused on that point because it was an outright lie. And you continued lying by now saying Hodges got 6 starts over Dobbs when Dobbs was traded before Hodges was ever elevated to the active roster.

Since you have no idea what happened in 2019 let me break it down for you. The Steelers had an open competition for the backup job in 2019 between Dobbs and Rudolph. Hodges was an undrafted rookie and considered nothing more than a camp arm. Rudolph ended up beating out Dobbs for the backup job. However, Dobbs beat out Hodges for the #3 job which is why when the initial cut down to the 53 man roster was made, Hodges was released. The Steelers then resigned Hodges onto the practice squad. After the first game of the 2019 season the Steelers traded Dobbs to the Jacksonville Jaguars where he spent the rest of the season as the #2 QB to Gardner Minshew. Big Ben ended up getting hurt that year after Dobbs was traded which is how Hodges ended up getting playing time.

Under no circumstances did Hodges get playing time over Dobbs. That was another outright lie on your behalf. Dobbs was already traded and on another team before Big Ben and Rudolph got hurt leading to Hodges playing time.

Next time get your facts right before trying to talk smack.

That's why his decision not to play seem so weird but he does have grade problems.

My pumphouse has likely frozen and I have a busted pipe somewhere in my bathroom. Came home to water on the floor. After a few choice, at the top of my lungs expletives I realized there isn't a damn thing I can do until it thaws.

Don't stress, enjoy Christmas.... Worry about what comes next later. And drink bourbon......... Bourbon has helped.

Happened to me last year under our house. We live in an old house with Copper Pipes. Got tired of patching them. Had lots of leaks last year. Had them all replaced with the flexible ones. Cost around $4,000. Yikes and thanks for Bourbon
