We also saw the Redwoods and to me they were more impressive. Was part of a 2 week, 10,000 mile trip when I was 18. What a trip!!

Really want to take the family out there someday!
They are freakin amazing. Them and Yosemite.

Just avoid Fresno...the city god left behind.

I don't care even a little bit about your Christmases, so please stop posting about them.

I actually enjoy reading them, but since [chastising people about discussions that they are having, and telling people to stop posting things that you could easily just scroll past] is a thing, I figured I'd join in.

Merry after-Christmas week. I hope you office folks have an uneventful week because most of the people you reply to are out of office.

I'd have to assume if those were going to happen, they'd have happened by now. I don't think we'll pull the trigger again....if at all...until after the bowl season. Maybe save one or two until after spring ball.
Staff has been pushing visits to January. As long as Lloyd and Thornton wait until then, we'll definitely bring them in and talk to them. The interest there is real. They just recently offered Jake Roberts, and TE is definitely a position of need, especially if Warren forgoes his last year of eligibility as expected. Davon Sears is also a new offer. I have to assume he's someone CRG has signed off on since he's DL. Campbell's name has been floating around for a while, so not certain how real the interest is. I'd say the interest in the others is very real.

Josh has struggled to maintain such a position. It's simply a fact.

How so? He's literally only lost one open QB competition in his career. 2019 vs Rudolph. In 2018 he won a QB competition for the backup spot when everyone thought he was a goner. In 2020 it was the covid year so there was no preseason. In 2021 he performed well before getting hurt. Then this year he played as well as anyone in the preseason with performances that were so good a lot of Cleveland fans and even media observers were calling for him to start over Brissett.

I would argue that outside of his rookie season Dobbs has been good to great in the preseason. Even in 2019 he played well. Rudolph just had better success. But there's literally been no time outside of his rookie season where Dobbs looked out of place in real game action. The fact he hasn't been able to stick on a team as the unquestioned backup is more a result of circumstance than him not performing when given a chance.

Are you seriously gonna argue that Dobbs did something wrong this past year to not stick on the Browns roster? He was damn near flawless in the preseason. He just keeps getting the short end of the stick. You act like Dobbs has been Nathan Peterman when given chances.

At this point, even if some great secondary hits the portal after bowl season, I have to wonder if we would pursue them? Despite defense being our obvious weakness, it seems we're mostly going to rely on freshmen to try and fix it.

@Bassmaster_Vol Come back!!

I'll have recruiting conversations with you, and I won't tell you to calm down.

Are there any shows on Prime Video worth investing time into watching? I've seen Reacher and Invincible already (both are good)... any other recommendations?
