It’s really well done. Strays slightly from the source material but not drastically…at least plot wise. Even as a conservative, I thought Clancy’s last efforts were way too cartoonish right wing. From what I'm hearing, Southwest has completely neglected upgrading software for receiving and handling calls, understaffed their call centers, and just generally managed operations very poorly. The S*** hit the fan over the holidays.

Friends with a higher up in that chain. This is the result of massive call-offs.

I think, eventually, a lot of players will realize the transfer portal is just as much of a risk as it is an opportunity.

Hartman entering the portal wasn't a secret. It's been known for weeks. Sure, he waited until after the bowl game to actually do it, but it was known well in advance.

I want this next wave to happen. There are definitely holes on this roster IMO that need to be filled. But if it doesn't happen now, it will just become "we're waiting until after the Spring". We'll see.

Maybe I'm just doing the same thing McGill does when it comes to games, and he predicts doom? Reverse jinx. Hopefully it works out.

I’m glad my Steelers didn’t take him bc I didn’t think he was that good…. He is a developmental qb though that shouldn’t be playing right now.

I don't even think Malik Willis shows long-term potential for development into a starting QB.

I think it will definitely slow waaaaay down. Most entering the portal will already have a landing spot or have at least a handful of potential spots. The mass exodus from teams will likely fall off as word gets around that a good portion of players ended up without a spot when the music stops. I mean, teams are bringing in high school talent right behind you and there are only 85 scholarships per team. If a team loses 15 seniors and 10 underclassmen, and then signs a class of 25 high schoolers then that is net zero scholarships available for transfer portal players. Many hoping to move to what they perceive as a better situation may find themselves having to move to a lesser conference or down to FCS to find a place to continue to play and get their degree.
