Recruiting Forum Football Talk VI

TY! Am I going to have to go to the football forum to get news and see people talking about football? 😩
There is nothing to talk about….. the practice reports are nothing more than the media seeing a purple of non-contact drills before they have to leave…. Every once in awhile a former vol will talk about what they saw at practice…. Otherwise…. We have no info to discuss.

At least there’s a little something over there. Saw Tealander is doing well along with Carter.

BTW, Harbaugh should not suffer any consequences on analyst’s coaching. Every team does it and teams were told last fall that rules against analysts and QC coaching would be eliminated this spring. Committee then proceeded to keep rule in place this spring.
That's what the article tells people to think? Why the rule didn't matter because something. Compare Nebraska.

https://www.si.com/college/2022/05/02/ncaa-violations-scott-frost-nebraska-penalty-show-cause
  • A one-year probation (through April 2023)
  • A one-year show-cause order for the head coach.
  • A five-day suspension from all coaching duties during the championship segment of the 2022 football season
  • A reduction of the number of football countable coaches by one for two days of practice during the spring 2022 season
  • All non-coaching staff members will be removed from practice and competition for five consecutive days during the championship segment of the 2022 season.
But Nebraska isn't a headline team for the B1G.

They started Harbaugh with nothing but 4 non-conference (not championship segment) games. Now they have dropped that. No show cause. No probation.

Crazy. Doesn’t AL do that all the time?
There was no such thing as "analysts" when Sabey started the practice. He just hired a grossly illegal number of coaches. A flagrant violation. And when it came up, Sabey said these coaches don't count because I give them a different name.

NCAA said, Cool, boss!

He went on to hire coaches on probation and coaching bans. It is so blatant.

Edit: And, as for the other issue, like @Weezer said, compare Harbaugh lying to the NCAA with impunity to Bruce got at UT.

If you add in Harbaugh's assistant coach busted for illegal use of university computers (which the NCAA has ignored) I think Harbaugh may be running the risk of lack of institutional control.

So did Hyatt not play much yesterday for the Giants or did he have a bad night - 1 catch for minus 4 yards.

I didn’t see it so I am curious.

Didn’t say anything about cheating, I said give spurrier or saban mediocre talent and they would struggle too. Proof is spurrier at south carolina. Both excelled when they can out talent the opponent. Not the same at all. Thought my post was very simply stated.

We agree! Guess misread! GBO!
