Mostly comes back to schedule...same as FPI having us at 8.2 wins...imo we're only dogs (rn) vs 2 teams. But it's the field of 60/40 or 2/1 games where we'll find our trip up(s). Just a (an optimistic) guesstimate.

But I think the "10-2/11-1 or bust" folks are ignoring the fact we just lost our closest thing to a Heisman since Peyton and our first Biletnikoff e-v-e-r. Otherwise we'd be top 5 or even 3 and booking tickets to the playoffs. Them plus a host of other NFL draftees and OL stalwarts is just a big overhaul. And HH...just can't say enough how huge he was here. Best UT qb all-time and not close.

UVA is good at men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball but I don't think they've ever won anything in football. I think you're thinking of their women's basketball team because they were who Summitt was chasing before she finally won a title? IDK though. If they ever got good at football they'd have one of the better ADs though.

Virginia had a decent team in the mid 2000’s but otherwise they’ve been meh. 6-6 type of program

My daughter is a freshman this year there. I am planning to live vicariously through her for the next 4-5 years.

My daughter was a freshman last year and I did the same. She brought me a souvenir from the Bama game, athletic tape from the Bama sideline with her partially smoked cigar. It's proudly displayed on the mantle in our den.
