I'm telling you...if we have a run of injuries to just a few key players on offense and defense, we will be doing good to win 7 games.I understand your concerns about OL but I'm a dreamer 15-0 but in reality if Tennessee goes 7-5 on to next year. I hope you would be ready to talk a few off the ledge if this upcoming season ends at 7-5
I'm a "traditionalist" 99% of the time...........but uniforms...........Let's do what the kids like/want.Having that high flying offense and all of those uniforms took it by storm. Recruiting picked up tremendously afterwards too. Kids across the country wanted to play Oregon and it had its effect on their program

I don't want it to happen, but it sure as heck is possible...and we are thin at too many spots.
We could also get really lucky and have no bad injuries to any key players and everybody plays as well or even better as it looks like most of VN assumes they will....in that case 15-0.
Most likely somewhere in the middle...8-4 to 9-3....10-3 with a good bowl win over another crappy ACC-B1G also ran.
Did you watch him last year? He had some amazing highlights, but also some horrific moments. I'm not trashing him, I'm thrilled he's on our D; but he's not one of the best in the country.Seems the past 3 years people have been disappointed in his performance. I think he’s one of the best LBs in the country this year. JB who?
Seldon is possibly the fastest player on the team. Being deep on kick-offs kinda suggests that is the case. @Plove23Figured it would be dee williams, followed by Sampson or another db. Would love to see seldon take one to the house.
Only time will tell. He’s on the watchlist for bednarik, best defensive player in country, so he is obviously held in pretty high regard by some who are relied upon to make that judgement each year.Did you watch him last year? Never going to convince me that our talent is inferior (and less deep) to 2021…after mass defections, malaise from the previous season, still present Covid threat and installation of polar opposite offensive and defensive schemes. All that and they scratched out SEVEN WINS. Some posters have us getting worse every year…cuz their eyes aren’t working. In fairness, that could be said of virtually every team every year. Lose your starting and backup QBs = bad year.
I haven't studied the depth, so it may be bad, but Heup has commented that our depth is better than it has been at ant point he's been here. My guess is that much of that depth is young and inexperienced, but probably higher quality than what we've had in the recent past. Anything is possible, but I think it would take a really bad run of luck to get to 7-5.
Butch Jones: We've built more depth than I've ever had. Now, 93.75287654% of that depth has never ridden a plane to an away game. Our technology shows that 11% have sleep apnea. Only 7% have ever shaved. 17% have their period, and 99.999% of them hate me.In fairness, that could be said of virtually every team every year. Lose your starting and backup QBs = bad year.
