Correct. And even into his seventies, he had whiskey on his breath. I remember him coming into the store in TC, and would always ONLY talk to one blonde. Sometimes people just dont need smart phones. I loved Johnny, was very personable. But when he came in, folks scattered.I have an idea…Majors didn’t play around!
My nephew runs a travel center in Crossville and had a different experience with Fulmer. Said he was down to earth and friendly. But heard similar stories about Johnny. It was said he blew the recruitment of Brent Collins by showing up for the home visit likkered up.Correct. And even into his seventies, he had whiskey on his breath. He and Bruce were and are people persons. Fulmer would wait in the car outside and wouldnt talk to plebes.
Yes, Siena was amazing! Drove right through that tiny town like Clark Griswold waving at people like an idiot. There is a really cool winery called La Lastra right outside the town worth going to as they make you homemade pasta and desert for lunch.I agree with the Amalfi coast but would also like to add that Cinque Terre and Sienna were my two favorites from my trip to Italy.
Would you take these places over Sicily? With everyone’s say about Naples. We have thought about flying into Sicily now then fly to rome and rent a car for rest of trip.I agree with the Amalfi coast but would also like to add that Cinque Terre and Sienna were my two favorites from my trip to Italy.
I wasnt shaming Fulmer, if anything to the contrary. Who would want to walk into a busy cell phone store? If anything, I completely appreciate it. Majors and Pearl were the narcissists needing all star attention to feed their egos.My nephew runs a travel center in Crossville and had a different experience with Fulmer. You’re coward sauce….If you don’t place a bet (for whatever reason)…what’s the infraction? I “draw the line” on what actually HAPPENED. And throwing a bat is a physical ACT…it’s not mulling it over.
And you’re lumping a LOT of players together by saying they ALL did it. Maddux set records and was never implicated and never reached 90 on the radar gun. Griffey had a natural career arc…he didn’t get BETTER as he approached 35. Throwing an asterisk is coward sauce.
UT rescores all transcripts to their own weighted scale just because different schools do it differently. Not all schools. Mine has never had anything but an A and took all honor and AP I’m core subjects but no one can have higher than a 4.0. Some schools do the weighted and others do not.
When John Majors came to Atlanta on recruiting trips, we would visit a lot of recruits and he was never "likkened up" when we made those visits. He always was greatly respected by the parents of the recruits and most were eager for their sons to play for him. He signed a bunch of very good football players from Georgia and built his teams with a lot of Georgia players. I realized that fans can no longer assist in recruiting players, but he was still a very skilled recruiter. My nephew runs a travel center in Crossville and had a different experience with Fulmer.
