Is beautiful for sure...Greater Yellowstone (which includes the adjacent Grand Tetons, Wind River, Beartooth, Absoroka and Gros Ventre mountains and millions and millions of acres of spectacular National Forest land in those mountains) is still my favorite spot on earth.
California's insanely diverse natural areas and the Southern Utah-Northern Arizona area are a close tied for second.
I still have not visited the Pacific Northwest NPs or Glacier NP though...so that could still change
Gross.Just spent 2 days in Glacier NP and am still processing the grandeur of that place. Bucket List item without a doubt, Uncle Uly.

The whole area is called the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem by scientists...I did not make that up...but I get what you are saying to a point.I do love Yellowstone.
That said, lumping grand Teton into Yellowstone is a bit discrediting to GT. It’s my favorite part of that area and I don’t consider it Yellowstone. Grand Teton > Formal Yellowstone
I’m partial to large mountains. On that note, Galcier should be at the top of your list since you haven’t been.
@BigOrangeMojo , is this you and WTF?
That third photo, wow. Thought Tetons were the pinnacle, but Glacier looking pretty phenomenal.Just spent 2 days in Glacier NP and am still processing the grandeur of that place. Bucket List item without a doubt, Uncle Uly.

Grand Teton National Park...well the whole Jackson Hole (valley...the famous town in Jackson Hole is Jackson Wyoming for those that get confused) is my favorite spot in my favorite place on earth.I do love Yellowstone.

Lord willing and I can get a permit for the days I have available, we are going there in 25. I wanna stay for at least three days.Just spent 2 days in Glacier NP and am still processing the grandeur of that place. Bucket List item without a doubt, Uncle Uly.

For me it's like trying to compare different spots in Heaven...I love them all....heck I love the whole West in generalNot Ulysees, but I've been to both so I'll give my 2-cents. Each trip is amazing for different reasons. I'd say it all comes down to what you're looking for, how important wildlife and thermals, etc are to you.
Yosemite is strikingly beautiful, GC is awe-inspiring; much better than I expected. Valley of Fire SP was cool and worth seeing if you're in the area, but i wouldn't plan a trip for it, better places to spend my limited amount of time. I was shocked at how beautiful Nevada was on the drive from Vegas to Tahoe (then to Yosemite).
For me, the draw to Yellowstone is the wildlife; but Grand Teton is also stunning.
Been to Yosemite twice, spent 10 days in Yellowstone/GT, and waiting to go back again. May work a summer there soon.
I just want in on the limited days that are available to me from my job....don't like the crowds mych either, but I just want in no matter what. I ain't loaded like you guys...it is a massive massive undertaking for me on my limited resources. And it makes it less crowded, thus more enjoyable visiting.
