I’m so glad he had absolutely no interest in us. Remember being bummed about that fact.

His family are all fans so maybe he was doing us a favor. He knew our problems were huge and that he couldn't handle them. I've been saying for a while that I believe Florida is having the same power struggle but the success they've had (a good season here and there) has disguised it. But everything from boosters not paying for the QB selected to player struggles this year and last year point to problems. Hell, who fires Dan Mullen that quickly and replaces him with Napier (that's a Mike Hamilton move if there ever was one).

Florida’s Dline is solid but not disruptive. Back half is bad. Gonna have busts that lead to big chunk plays against a CJH offense.

As a result, our team has a strong culture and leadership from the head coach, the staff, within the team, and within every position group.

Our players do not even take cognizance of -- much less believe -- that games played by other players at some other time have anything at all to do with their own game. Their execution determines outcomes.

Heupel will have a winning record at Tennessee against the Gators in a few weeks. He is not afraid of them. He loves beating them.

You do realize the Braves have one of the best pens in baseball, right?

Yeah but at the time the Dodgers had only one hit and 7 Ks through 4 innings off Strider. Getting to anyone else seemed like the best hope.

As it turned out, the Dodgers showed up strong after that but it wasn't quite enough to overcome Lynn's abysmal 2nd inning.

They did lose to vandy past year.

I didn't watch that game but it's been a long time since I've seen a UF team that inept. The last one was the Peterman-Florida game where both teams deserved to lose. And honestly, there's no excuse for that roster to be that bad. I think there were at least reasons that year but I don't remember for sure.

Mizzou is going through something right now. They are leaning in to cringe. There was a cringy as hell vid with one cheerleader spitting water into another cheerleader's mouth and the cringy 'how to be a Mizzou fan,' vid. It's like they're in a genuine teenage phase that no one but their immediate circle 'gets.'

Love the Jortz freakouts... they deserve to suck for a while... They will most likely get their act together and improve a bit (they'll gain some false confidence playing McNeese before us), but unless things go off the rails, I say we go into that game and WTFA... Just need to have Cooper back by then or things settled at that position. Someone else wrote-- we double team their one skill player who did well last night, blitz and contain their RB's, and we will win by at least 2 TD's...
I think the difference this year is our defense will be better overall and will have a lot more confidence... They won't be able to keep us from scoring every possession or every other possession unless we have self-inflicted penalties or drops.

I thought Tn would beat Fla by 17-20 points last year and we had to hold on for dear life to get the win. They looked like garbage before our game and after our game. I will wait until after we play down there before I get cocky lol
