Saw this commented by an old HS teacher I had on Facebook to one of the kids I went to school with complaining about USCe sucking (around 25-28 years old for reference):

“Tennessee during your childhood is more like what we really are, and Tennessee is what Spurrier was at his best. What you’re seeing now isn’t the anomaly, it’s the anomaly correcting itself”

I just for the love of me dont understand any of that.

Tennessee had Andy Kelley, then Heath Shuler, then Peyton Manning. We won the SEC in 1989, or 90 I believe.

So after researching SC's football championships, I see a gooseegg. That means 0 for those 25-28 years old, for reference.

We played for, and won it again in 97, and 98. And should hve in 99. Also, 2001. I recall sitting in Atl in 2004. and 2007.

So... again. SC has never won a title in football. Period. They played for one in 2010.

So...again. is tn really like what you are now?

The anomaly correcting itself would be a giant arm opening up out of the sky and bitch slapping Mayo.

Got back earlier from psu/wvu game. Needless to say, we stuck out like a sore thumb in the “blue” seat section!! Beaver stadium was kind of lame tbh. 110k announced and I’ve heard Neyland so much louder with 90k! Tailgating was cool, more like nascar or big country concert event. Lots of campers and rv’s all out in fields. Other than some pretentious yuppies, everyone was pretty cool. Heard a ton of “Go Vols” walking through the crowds. It was fun, won’t be back, btdt!

Looks cool. Hope you guys had fun.

Have to head to WV this week or next. No offense, not looking forward to it.
