I thought Dayne played well at center too. Made me feel alot better about Cooper being out. Give him time and make sure he’s fully ready to go by A&M. We should be able to hold up well up to that point. If he’s fully healthy before that, then great.

They were def. trying to run a similar short pass play with Squirrel this season that I can remember us running with Velus a lot.

I am sure you know the background but some may not. When the state line were surveyed centuries ago, they made an error of like 1000’, which is incorrect to the designated latitude They would have had just a tip of the TN River. In which invariably they would construct a pipeline to drain our river.

Not sure when it happened. It has to do with the uniform rules. There's a rule about the borders being no more than 1" wide. Now I'm not sure why we get away with it on this jersey, except maybe that its a home game and we are wearing the color jerseys so the only approval needs to come from the NCAA. With a white jersey we'd have to either wear them on the road and get approval prior to the season from NCAA & opponent, or get approval from both to wear them as the home team.

So I think it just required less red tape to make a colored alternate.

Close game last year they used there timeouts. I'm going guess it will cut at least 10 to 15 plays a game on average. 😕 probably 10 to 15 more commercials 🤬

I see what your saying but if they don't change the rule back for next season this will be here to stay..... Long term ......
