"6-8 in the conference" is a weird way to say "10-6 in the conference since Heupel has been here and 6-2 this season."

Maybe let's let the successful coach do what he's been doing succesfully.

Recruiting is about the future. This staff developed but did not recruit Hyatt, Wright, Hooker. I’m positive on Heup and most of the staff but think we need to take another step in recruiting or we just saw our ceiling.

We just took a step this cycle. Highest average player rating since Kiffin? I'm not sure, but if not than it was since Fulmer. We just accomplished 11-2 with somewhat of an average roster.

Again, we recruited fine. We won with players here when they arrived though. But including OK and TX who will be in the conference when the 23s are important, we were 7th On3 at 12 with three of them top five and one team right behind us. I’m just saying we need to take another step in 2024 and I hope he uses his TE opening to strengthen staff recruiting.

How do you know this? I’m guessing he also knows we can’t keep being 6-8 in the conference if we intend to win championships.
People have already addressed your inaccurate info about our in- conference recruiting ranking. But I know this because he stated as much in early interviews when he discussed putting his staff together. That doesn't mean that he doesn't care about recruiting. But....when he is evaluating potential staff members, their ability to recruit isn't the first box on the list of what he's looking for. Everyone on the current staff is a hard working, willing recruiter. They are also very genuine and honest recruiters (no used car salesmen).

We chased recruiters with every single coach we have had…. It hasn’t worked out…. Georgia chased a recruiter with its last OC…. It didn’t work out…. Get the best fit/coach possible and our recruiting will keep growing…. It has gotten better every year.

Yeah. Obviously it’ll have to improve or we’ll be like about where Richt and Georgia was at. I’ll take it at this point. But important to note it’s still early in the tenure and 24’ is supposed to be the break through recruiting class haul most people expect. We’ll have to see. Put together another 10 win season this next year and we’ll hit the ground running

Ok, thought there was something recent. And as far as “people addressed my inaccurate info…”. They completely whiffed. Including OK and TX, we were 12th and seventh in the conference on On3. My post was accurate.

He did recruit Nico and squirrel…. That’s going to be one heck of a combo in the future.

Americans get the 2nd least amount of paid vaca days per year behind only Micronesia.

The richest of the rich need their minions to work as much as possible so they can get even richer and for some reason Americans eat that sh*t up and then brag about it lol. Like awesome job working all the time, now here’s your nonstop anxiety and stress, enjoy and see you first thing tomorrow AM!!
And all just to end up back in consumer debt...

Despite not having quite near the economy or stock market, at least the Japanese actually save and have something to show for it. Here many will proudly work to the bone...but then blow it all being consumerists/materialists (granted, a decent share of us fine folks do not buy into that worldly illusion...just not enough to outweigh all the consumerist idiots 😅).

I mean...we of course gotta buy more crap to fill up our crap-filled homes, so we can buy bigger homes to put more crap in, then when that's not enough we gotta buy some extra storage space...because we just have so much crap...otherwise how will ever ever be fulfilled or content? 🤔😒

And yet I don't know of a single restaurant operating with a full staff. Somebody is clearly not working.
Uhhh the average, everyday restaurant worker isn't getting PTO (what MarcoVol was referencing)

All industry folk know that...

They simply can't keep folks employed when competing with other industries. It's not because servers are taking their "holiday" in Hawaii for a month just because they can.

I grew up a Cowboys fan but haven't cheered for them since Jerry Jones chased off Jimmy Johnson. I hope they beat Tom Brady tomorrow. I don't like Tom Brady.

You mean you hope they beat the Bucs. Brady doesn’t play defense, special teams, WR, OL, RB or TE.

Sorry, I didn’t really whiff. The composite has us at 9, which is 4th with current SEC teams. That shows that we are really competitive within the conference. If Heupel can beat Bama with what he inherited, then 4th in the conference is good enough to win a bunch of games, especially with a 5 star QB.

Neither of those teams are currently in the SEC, yet you choose to count them to support your narrative. We were 9th overall on 247, which shows that recruiting rankings by sites are subjective. Championships are the end goal, but you have to build a program for sustainable success in that process. I have no issues with nor any reason not to trust the way he has decided to rebuild this program so far.

Florida losing Rashada would put them lower than us

So currently 4th

Oh awful! Just terrible recruiting in year two!

Are you seriously worried about recruiting right now? All we've done is continued to get better and better high school recruits and transfers

We are NATTY CONTENDERS RIGHT NOW BABY

Enjoy the ride
