Here's what funny about the whole pay yourself what your employees make and get to the base of the issue. This might be true of Franchise Owners that never worked in the industry and just had money to invest. Or the executives hired in without any fundamental knowledge of the lowest level employees. Many bosses and owners however have tremendous knowledge about their stores and industries. They've done the job and expect others to care like they do. These are the best bosses and owners and why should they take a pay cut? If anything, employee should hear their story and strive to earn more and be more. That's the best aspect of capitalism. The opposite of this is Dan Price, the former embattled CEO of Gravity. He felt like he was some sort of messiah and decided to knock his pay from 1 million to $70K. He paid every employee the same rate of 70K. There were articles written about how awesome this was and how productivity increased and other coworkers were flocking to Gravity. He was being touted by liberal news sites as the greatest thing to happen to business.
Then his top level employees started quitting because they felt their work and expertise deserved more pay than bottom level employees that lacked committment and work ethic.
Then he became marred in legal issues of sexual harassment, a messy divorce, and his own brother suing him for malpractice.
Then this......

Gravity is now in the tank and Dan Price is gone. This story hasn't received the attention from the same sources that touted it. It's a story of socialist failure in business. It's the story of failure by running a business to social media instead of making tough decisions. Bosses aren't best friends. They should however be understanding and fair. America was founded by hard and fair people. I pray we don't become too soft as we go along.
Tbf we were technically at a 46 or 47% BCR iirc. Granted, it was a complete and utter lie considering all of those bluechip 2019 guys left...but alas the official BCR calculation is extremely rough and dirty, on purpose, and yet still undefeated.Normally we would need better classes to compete at the highest level, but I think the style of play and coaching offsets that a little. Consider what Heupel did with a blue chip ratio in the 30% to 40% range. He was able to beat teams with more talent like LSU and Alabama. Alabama’s BCR is approaching 90%.
If we were running the same type of offense as UGA and Alabama then yes we would need higher ranked classes, but we aren’t going to out-talent them at this point. I think we’re going to be fine in this range as long as we have great QB play.
I'd encourage you via 1 Cor 4:3. And that was Paul's response to wrong Christians, much less folks outside the faith who would be arrogant enough to claim enough expertise in the faith so as to inform its practitioners how to practice it.It is quite alright. I never should have engaged in the first place. I did not care for the way his post portrayed small business owners, and knowing several of them and how hard they work I allowed myself to respond when I should have scrolled on by.
reading the board, realizing it's the offseason. so many weeks until spring news, many more weeks until fall camp, eternity until we see Milton spin it into the hands of a speedy WR. and here we are tearing each other apart.
as a small business owner myself, reading all these posts from my yacht, i admit i do feel bad paying my employees 2 coins (not sure what coins exactly, once you get into coins it's all peasant dinglies to me)
at the same time i work with so many VPs and executives that have no business overseeing any part of any business. i wouldn't pay them 1 coin.
i guess it's all to say, whether you're beating someone over the head with a rolled up wall street journal, or beating someone over the head with a bible, we're all morans.

as a business owner, this is hard to follow. the only time i see two circles overlap is on pay day when i have to pay my lowly employees their 2 coins. There are quite a few morans on this board. There are also a fair share of morons. Sometimes some of us fall into the portion of the venn diagram where to two categories overlap.
I'll offer this thought: Jesus sent His disciples into all the world to engage that world. He also told them to take it as great joy when the world hated them for doing so. (i.e. for having been offended in how they interacted in the world.) Jesus was so offensive, the world murdered Him.It is quite alright. I never should have engaged in the first place. Once you realize that, it becomes quite comical. It's about as funny as the guy debating Soilvol about hordes of angry snakes chasing him miles through the woods to his doorstep at home.
OK. So you're a troll. A troll that has repeatedly been asinine enough to claim to Christians that you're the source of truth per their faith, and who panics when the bus gets too bumpy. Pull that chain man. Pull it hard.LOL yes poking fun at religion and judgment by god on a board full of Christian conservatives is definitely trying to get everyone to leave me alone and absolutely not an invitation to argue more.
